I have a feeling we are close to his nadir.
We are right on the border - Not sure if I should feed and monitor OR NOT feed (and surf @ 50) and monitor????

He is acting normal and he BG has NOT fallen below 50. :)

Did not give Rex food, wanted to see where he was going to take us and how he reacted.

Normal behavior, Responsive, Walking normal, Cleaning himself and his numbers are up a little bit.

Will retest in 30 minutes, now that his number are trending just a bit higher.

Looks like Rex is having fun surfing close to the edge of the lagoon. One night Neko surfed at 53 for 3 hours! I thought the meter was stuck. :lol:

First of all, healing numbers are normal numbers. You don't need to keep him surfing the low 50's, when surfing the higher greens will do. The question is can you manage the cycle with some LC or MC so he just bumps up a bit and doesn't skyrocket. If you need to sleep, I'd go to HC.

Very nice surf. I agree with Wendy that its ok to give him a little more carbs so you can get some sleep. But it's very cool that he's surfing right along there won't food!

I don't have any MC food, Just LC and HC

I will go with the LC food bump - I have him .3oz of LC food and will retest in 30 minutes. :)

I am just happy that Rex is down into normal numbers rather than the 500s.
I am just a basket case when he is that high!!
