Yesterday was.... hmmmmmm...... F L A T Y E L L O W day in MannieLand. It was almost of repeat of the day before. He had a great cycle the night before, a blue surf, with a wonderful amps of 128 yesterday morning. I almost wonder how low he went during the night... I wish I knew. :? Mannie does, but as usual he isn't talking. Darn cat! :lol: It could very well be that the flat yellows yesterday were a result of low blues the night before. I dunno.... it's always such a guessing game with Mannie. He doesn't follow the rules, but makes up new ones as he goes along. Try and keep up with that. :lol: :lol: Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Although I am FOR SURE on the "I am not happy with my bean list". I had pressure washed the deck the other day, and yesterday I sealed the wood with a sealer. Nasty stuff: stinks, and not exactly pet friendly for about 12 hours after application. So....... here we are with 82 degree sunny blue skies weather and the kittters are confined to quarters. I lost count of the number of times he came and got me to let him out. Poor Mannie! I had to tell him no, so sorry, and you have to wait a day. He was not happy. The nanners sure got a workout today. Poor nanners: the Nanner King took out his frustrations on those nanners. Well they got lots of hugs too. and licks. and slobbers. and affection. All in a days work. :lol: :lol: :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa too (again)... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D :cool: :cool: :cool:

Have a great day everyone! I hope to go hiking today, well maybe, not too sure yet.... we shall see if Mannie says yes. Hmmmmm.... otherwise there are all those Saturday chores and errands. HAHA! They will be there tomorrow. Maybe I'll just take the day off entirely. Possibilities!

Hey everybody! We are back to Rusty's today. it's supposed to rain: perfect fishing weather!! WOO HOO! I packed rain gear for everyone. Maybe we can do some grillin' after - fresh fish, some chicken kabobs, and maybe some turkey burgers. YUM! You guys in? See you soon, 'K? ~~ Mannie

Morning Jane - so true on the kitties confinement. I am surprised that this morning they are not camped out by the door, waiting... :lol: Niptinis in Karre's condo? Mannie is on his way!
KTSS stands for Kittenhood of traveling Soup and Spa. It is a group that was founded by Mannie, Stu, Tess and Gracie way back: They visit all sick and ailing kitties and bring them soup, healing vines, spa treatments for after vetty visits. Fun stuff!

I see Mannie's giving you a Sat. to go off and have some fun. ..or not such fun... errands, maybe :-D

We have the same "I wanna go out", situation, here. Just a different reason. Checks 'walks me to the door', and yells at me, to take him out.
Ain't gonna walk him in rain, or even in wet grass. He's so goofy, he sits on the screen porch and gets wet. :lol:

Well it seems like Mannie is resting his voal chords and rock n roll paws for a bit longer. We're anxiously awaiting to hear the Blue Mannie group but they're so great that we're willing to wait :-D
I'm glad Mannie has some nanners to take his frustration out on since he can't go outside. We're painting our living room today so our kitties will be confined to the bedrooms for a while. It's a sacrifice they'll just have to make:)

Hope you can get out on your hike today.

Hey Mannie, I'm getting outta here before the beans start to paint! There's no way I'm getting stuck in the bedroom while you're out fishin! I hope Tess picks me up in the Furrari!

Morning Michelle and thanks on the ~O) ~O) delivery yesterday. It saved the day. It looks like Mannie is giving permission. Sorry about the deck sealant and no deck time yet. First thing I looked for pics, and then I remembered it was a work day and chores. Have a great hike today, as it looks like Mannie is giving permission.

Mannie, Canp Stu sounds great and I do love the rain. Thanks for packing extra raingear and all the fuds. I'll look around in my Bean's kitchen and see if she has anything i can pack up besides Stouffers frozen lasagna, yuck!. See ya at the curb, Mags

It looks like he surfed the yellows today, and I hope that maybe the blues were found while I was gone. :-D His pmps is down from his +11, so maybe that means we will have a great blue cycle. Maybe even a visit to the greens.

OMG!!! WHAT A HIKE TODAY! I went up to the North Cascades today, did some exploratory hiking at the end of SR 542, for some alpine lakes, open ridges, ad the mountains here at their best: Baker and Shuskan. It was such an incredible hike. Views were outstanding, snowfields are still there. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow. SOrry I have not been able tog et to condos today - hopefully I can tonight. :-D :-D

Hi Helen - Yupp, today the kitties got to go outside - they were so happy. I made Mannie swear to to spill the beans on the "outsies". THX: hike was wonderful... what a great start tot he weekend!

hi Liz - my thinking exactly, so off I went. it was a great hike to an area I had not been to before - so so worth it, and I am ever so glad that I went. A stellar day. and yes on Mannie... I've been gone alot during the mid cycle stuff, so no clue if he did good stuff or was a flatliner... oh well. He knows, but will not spill the beans. darn cat!

Hi carla - Thx - I really did! Today was awesome. :-D I had hoped for blue, but got yellow, but it looks like he is headed down, so maybe tonight. Mannie so agrees with you on yesterday. He made up for tht today though. Reports indicate hat he spent most of the day outside. :cool:

Hi Tamara - SO it seems. I really though we'd head to the blues today, guess he had other plans, yellow plans. So I went hiking instead. Yupp, love the Blue Mannie Group - he had better get there so he doesn't lose his fans. :lol: :lol: Good luck with your painting. Probably a god thing they are confined. I still remember the time one of mine got out while I was painting. I had green footprints on the floor. FUN! :lol: :lol:

Tomorrow will be a good day outside too, weather permitting.

All this hiking chatter is making me feel like getting out and doing some too. Perhaps tomorrow unless Shadow says otherwise.

That hike sounds grand, Michelle. Looking forware to the pics.

The kitties had an exciting day here. Not much fishing--the lake looked like the ocean. The gale force wind was incredible to watch as it swept the water into torrents, akin to fast rapids on a river. But Mannie said it was much better than breathing in deck fumes. Our boys had similar numbers today--stormy yellow.

Hi Rhiannon - adventures indeed! And he sure hopes so on tomorrow. Looks like we will luck out wit another good one - Paws crossed! Cool on the hiking! I hope you will be able to go. With Mannie's +2 today I knew he wouldn't do anything that needed me here for a few hours, so off we went.

DId you take any photos? and I know on Mannie: he was so glad not to have to breath deck fumes today. :? That stuff if so nasty! 82 here yesterday and I had to keep the house closed up so we didn't have to breathe or smell it.... bummer! ah Rusty... you a stormy yellow? Mannie is glad to be keeping you company on the yerllow floor.

uh-oh - those beautiful days might be numbered! it was only 60* at 3:30 here today and the clouds seem to have rolled in. poor mannie might not forgive you if it's raining by the time he gets outside! :lol: how fortunate he has his nanners to console himself! punkin's been collecting catnip toys and laying on them, remind me of mannie's nanner-beds. :-D

Hi julie!!! Thanks for the visit! oh oh on the 60degree days.... our weather folks say we will see the rains on Monday... bummer! They also say sunny and warm right after that. Such great weather (minus one day) we are having... :-D :-D oh yes on Mannie, though he has been known to still do his rounds in a downpour. Silly cat! Too funny non Punkin - one would think it would be uncomfortable... never seem to be. ;-)
