Morning ~O) ~O) I really need some as I awoke way too early and never did a btd! Reporting to Detective Poo :-D that we have four P's in place, with this being the 2nd day for no poo! *** I'm beginning to see a pattern of a poo coming on the 3rd day. I may need to add more Miralax, as the other two are set doses. Maggie is feeling good though, in spite of all she's gone thru lately with the poo issues and getting a diagnosis of Megacolon. She was in a really deep sleep when I got up. I was working on some bills when all of a sudden I heard this loud chatter, and she had the mouse part of the toy in her mouth. So all is well if she's playing with the mouse. I have my car back, so some errands are still awaiting me today. I was thinking of doing a load of laundry first, but I don't know what kind of a situation I may run into on an early Saturday morning in the LR! :? Wishing everyone a nice day.

*** ETA: Maggie just had a very healthy poo at about 6:30 am, so the fine tuning is working. I'll need to let Detective Poo know and also Roni with her magical poo vines and everyone.

I think the symptom of too much Miralax is runny poo. So if they aren't runny, you could try more miralax. Detective Poo is hoping for a good report today. I would definitely avoid the laundry on Sat. :shock:

Hi Anne, I thought so, too, with the Miralax might cause runny poo. But apparently the Megacolon kitties can withstand more than usual than the other kitties without the mega issue. I learned this talking with a couple other caregivers of Megacolon kitties. It's dose to effect. and also per Vetty. Right now I've been giving 1/2 tsp. and it doesn't phase her.

It's good, when you can predict when Mags has a poo day, but it is worrisome when day three comes and goes, and then you have to play the guessing game.
I hope today's the day for her. Or has that magical moment passed for today? Odd thing for me to say?? :lol:

Checks goes in the evening, when I'm on here, so he can perfume the air for me.
Tux and Clancy go in morning. Clancy, the three yo, doesn't cover, so that assults my nostrils first thing in morning :lol:

Tux did go after the Miralax. I felt really bad, because I gave him 1/4 teas, when you had said 1/8. I should have double checked your advice before giving.....he had runny poo. Poor baby...my fault.

I just realized what you said about Maggie clattering, and the pole mouse. Does she dive at it, the way they do a live mouse? :lol:

Maggie just had a magical poo, and this is only the 2nd day, so we've got it down to a poo every 2nd day! :-D
All of a sudden she was so playful, and then I saw a heap of something covered up in the lb, and looked and it was a healthy poo, so the meds are working!

Barb, so glad the Miralax worked for Tux; oh sorry about the runny poo. It happens. Maggie has the mouse in her mouth as if she's taking it for food for her babies.

Ella, good luck on trading in your car on Thursday. I should be thinking of it, too.

That's great you have poo on the 2nd day. Maybe this will be the new normal instead of the 3rd day. It's good to hear Maggie is feeling well and playing with her mouse toy.

Maybe she could find the real mouse that Rusty ignored.

Just got back from running a few errands, not as humid today, very nice! I stopped by one of my favorite vitamin/coffee shops and had a really good smoothie; it had Espresso, soy milk, banana, dark chocolate, ginseng (I think), honey and I forget what else was in it, so good...it was my coffee and lunch in one package!

Carla, thanks for stopping by and yes, it would be nice if doing the poo on the 2nd day would be the new normal.

Rhiannon, I found Mags sacked out on my bed. She didn't even acklowledge me coming home. The mouse pole toy is on the bed, along with a small plate of food. I know we all spoil them. :-D

A little high; I'm not sure what happened there! :? Maybe a little bounce or maybe I shorted Mags on juice. Then there's always the vial. I guess that's enough excuses for now! :lol:

Barb & Checkers, you guessed it as to why Maggie's PMPS was unusually high for her. It was the snack I left her! :lol: I guess I better go light on the cheese & crackers next time.

Hi Ann - sorry to be so late in posting. I am glad that Jane got you the extra ~O) this morning! :-D It also looks like Maggie had a good day today - WOO HOO! AND we had POO! Way to go Mags. it was nice to read also that she wants to play - all is now well in MaggieVille.

I hope your day was a good one . Nice too that you have your car back. :-D :cool: :cool:
