9/8- Lucky - We've stuck with it!

So I am very proud of myself for sticking it out with the 1.2 dose :mrgreen:

I did increase it to 1.3u yesterday but wasn't too happy with the results. Maybe he needed more time to adjust but at any rate, I got nervous about changing and went back to a 1.2. He's had hit or miss results really.

So, the question is, does it look like we can increase or do we stick with 1.2 for awhile longer. I keep waiting for another yellow PS or another nadir like he had on 9/2! But no, not so lucky, although today he did have a nadir of 172! Yay! I'll take it!

Any ideas?!
 
Well, I'm no dosing expert but I would raise to 1.3 but please don't depend on what I say, let someone else give their opinion.
 
Lucky has been pretty consistent on the 1.2 dose. Today was the best curve, though. But I'm not sure what that means...
Take today out of the picture, and it would appear that it's time for an increase. The other day he went into the blues it looks like you had a bounce the next day. Since then, no blues until today. I'm wondering if you are gonna see a little bounce tomorrow.
OK, here's what I think. If you don't see a bounce tomorrow, then it seems like maybe his liver isn't fighting you as hard. If that is the case, then I think you can bump it up to 1.3 without trouble. Or 1.4 if you're feeling agressive!
I would stick with 1.2 tomorrow morning, and see if there is a bounce from today's blues. If not, I'd up it tomorrow night.

ok here is my take on this....
a lot of times when you raise you dont like the immediate number and
you go back to what you were doing, for some reason his numbers get better
but that is usually only for a short period of time...
I would recommend raising and holding again...maybe 4 or 5 days, let her settle into
the dose and see where that takes you

Yeah, I know I could've stuck with the 1.3 but I wanted to come here first. Guess I should have done that before I increased, huh? lol I just don't want to go too high again and get back into that situation where no dose is working that well. I'd like to see more consistent blues but I just don't know how to do that, unless I take it slow and just wait and see with each dose.

So, I'll give the usual 1.2 and check for a bounce today. If everything is all clear then I'll increase to 1.3. Really trying to take it slow!

His AMPS was 313, which is really good for him. His AMPS's are usually in the high to mid 300's....we *almost* had a yellow PS this morning and that makes me excited! haha

I went ahead and shot 1.3 since he had a 320 AMPS on 9/6 and I shot 1.2u and his +5 was 215. I figure if there was going to be a bounce he wouldn't have had such a low PS. Both my fingers are crossed that we see blues again today!! I could tell he felt better this morning because he was all lovey and purring when I checked his BG. Funny how we get to know about what the BG is just by how they are acting towards us lol

I'll update soon and let y'all know how it's going!
