Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are very busy resting.... after Lola's escapades yesterday they is mega tired... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was catch up day, and I did get alot done, bills, laundry, shopping, all the fun stuff! I also managed a short walk/hike too, local stuff. We had clouds in the morning, but by afternoon the sun was out, and it turned our to be a very nice afternoon. I think we reached 75, with sunny blues skies, and a very nice sunset. I really do enjoy that walk/hike. The trail is nice, follows a creek down to the shore, and then one has the views of the San Juan Islands and the Olympic Mountains. You can see the ferries coming and going too. It's a great place. My neighbor had an open house today for her 90th birthday, so spent a few over there this afternoon. it was fun, and nice to see faces I haven't seen for a while, former neighbors etc. All in all fun times. awesome that she has made 90. I wonder if either of us will be that lucky. why not, huh? AND: my DD posted on FB that William rolled over yesterday, a few times I guess. WOOT! Now the fun starts to begin. :-D :-D :-D The rest of the day was rather laid back. I accomplished things in the morning, took the afternoon off, in part for my neighbors party, and then just to chill out some. YAY! Works for me.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Yesterday was marathon day for Lola, and Bug. Warp speed running here there and everywhere. What I could give to have some of that energy! I think I like the flying over the sofa part the best, or maybe the running so fast into the kitchen that they slip and skid sideways on the tiled kitchen floor, or the tumble down the stair when they lock paws at the top of the stairs....  GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Kitties! Oddly enough the rest of the day was quiet. Hmmmmm..... perhaps they are recovering from those marathons, or recovering from pizza party night the nght before, or they are plotting some grand mischievous adventure. I vote for the later.

Have a great day everyone! I'm uncertain what will be here today. I think my DS may be by to help with somethings around the house, maybe not? I need to call him.... I had hoped to hike today, but well.... so many of the places I save for September hiking are now inaccessible due to closed roads due to mudslides etc... and the re-routes are so terrible long.... so. might stay put. I have some work to do in a spare room downstairs that will be the boys room when they stay here with their grammie. SWEET!: A bookcase to assemble, and two wall size train murals to put up. Bed, linens, stuffed bears etc are already in place, just need to add a few things to make it their space. :-D It would be nice to get it finished, so maybe today!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

That's great you were able to get a walk in yesterday during the nice weather. How neat that you neighbor had her 90th birthday yesterday. Lola and Bug are so entertaining. I bet they were plotting their next adventure.

Wow! William is rolling already? So exciting!
Ooh I can't wait to see pics of the spare room when it's complete and ready for the boys. How fun!

Enjoy your day today, Michelle! Scritches to your marathoners, and special thanks for the Wise Lil Bit Elsa for the coffee treat today!
:-D

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on yesterday - the walk was nice, it felt good to get out some. It was a nice party for my neighbor. Kudos to her for making 90! Awesome. so so agreed on Lola and the troops. a plot is in the making...

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp, William is rolling. SWEET! 3 months old and now on the move. This one will be chasing his big bro in no time. Hey thx on the room. I hope to work on it today. We will see how "easy" it is to assemble that bookcase. ;-) I will pass on those scrtiches, and make sure Elsa gets her thanks. She loves to brew!

Wow...so many cool things going on. Happy 90th birthday to your neighbor! William's already rolling?! EEEKKK! Before you know it, he'll be crawling and then walking (more like running!) and then driving and dating! AAAHHHH!!!! It all goes so fast!  on the kitty marathons! They are totally plotting their next grand adventure. Glad you have your peaceful hikes to add some balance in your crazy, busy, fun world. Wishing you a productive, yet restful Sunday, Michelle!

Woot! Sunday night... Where did the weekend go? I did make it our for woods to ashore walk this morning, just after 7AM. Tt was a nice walk, sun has just broken through, can't quite call it first light, but it was close. That has to be my fav time of the day. Akin to a fresh start I guess. It was still a little foggy, but some of that early morning sun managed to poke through. well anyways - nice walk down there, explored the trails some, got maybe 6 miles out of it. no complaints. I built a bookcase, 6 footer, in the after afternoon, woo hoo! ;-) well, a pre-fab one, but still i got it done, no thanks to crappy directions, and my general lack of carpentry skills.   it came together fairly well. I've been meaning to make the little guys space here more kid friendly, so built and put a bookcase in that room for all his stuff, not that there's alot, but it will get what there is out from under foot. I also got him too a RR/tunnel mural that covers half of one wall, ceiling to floor. He just loves trains, so I hope he will think this train tunnel is kinda cool. I also got a smaller mural of a locomotive chuggin' through the mountain slopes, also very cool. That one I still need to get on the wall. so, new digs done today for the little guy, 85% complete. I will post the Picassa link to the Meadowdale photos in tomorrows condo.

Hi Deborah :-D Isn't that the coolest thing? Her 90th birthday. YAY! Yupp, william is rolling... and OMG on all the rest... probably more true than not. ;-) I so agree on the kitties: a plot is in the works. After all, this is LOLA! THX on today - it was great, and peaceful. Love that tie of morning at the shore....

Wow, 90 - that's an impressive milestone. My aunt made it to 89 when she passed last month. She was hoping to make it to 90, so she could say she lived longer than her mother and grandmother, but the old heart had reached the end.

Glad to read that there is normalcy in Muscateerville. That Lola is a wild child.

Hi Anne ~O) Wow on your aunt! <y neighbor is still going strong, mobile and active. Wouldn't surprise me if she makes 100. m,e too.... one needs normalcy. and Lola is Lola. never ever a dull moment!
