9/8 Catman barfed up his pmps meal after his shot

I feed him every 3 hours but I want to get a good +2 or +3 before bed.

He's back in his lovely laundry room hospital ward for the night and I gave him a spoonful of food at 8:45 which is +.75. I'll test at +2 and at +3 then feed as usual but Im still not clear how quickly eating LC food impacts BG. Will the Tbs of 2% impact the +2?

Probably, but it doesn't matter. The only time it's important that he not have food is the 2 hours immediately before Pre-Shot tests so you get a number that's not influenced by food.

The rest of the cycle, you just feed as you want to and test when you can. You don't have to worry about whether he's eaten or not. You want his day to be as normal as possible...so if you'd normally feed at +3, it's fine to go ahead ...even if you want to get a +3 or +4
