shot relative low last night, plenty of food down, seems to have worked out -- when he starts eating the home-stewed chicken, it disappears fast, even if it's still mostly frozen

he's looking at me saying, "aren't you going to do a test at +2?" and I'm saying no, I'm waiting an hour

stumbled out of bed at 5:55 and I'm not awake yet, almost 3 hours later

well, we don't speak the same language, but he does seem to comprehend some English words; I think cats may be somewhat psychic so I make sure to summon a clear mental image to go with the words I speak; and his body language is usually pretty clearcut -- he's his own person, definitely not human, definitely cat, a totally different sort of intelligence

meanwhile he's taking a trip down the beach, we'll see what happens, he's adjusting to the new dose (which may be a bit scanty this morning, couldn't get that bubble out of the syringe)

Maybe this is a day you can take all day long to wake up! As long as you are awake enough to care for his highness, all is well:coffee::coffee::coffee:
Try the beach out pretty boy!

must wake up in time to cheer for the Seahawks -- since team colors are blue and green, I'm putting out blue and green mats for Catcat to recline upon

maybe his spreadsheet will show those colors too -- he's on his way if he follows his usual path, should be a blue test at +5

I'll give him a blue and green pompom to play with

DH and son James are Cowboys fans (you can't take the boy out of Texas) -- just because of Mariota I'm rooting for the Titans too, but only if he's playing, and I have a warm spot for JJ Watt of the Texans as well

who knows how much he slid, I don't, because:

1) spelling DS at his garage sale, and he didn't come back "real soon", more like 2 hours, game had already started
2) cheering the Seahawks on
3) arguing with DH and DS about phones, pickup truck, what to eat for lunch, at halftime
4) opening a cup of Meow Mix for Catcat who was hungry, missed his lunch snack
5) cheering the Seahawks (and sweating the cliffhanger)
6) retrieving the food for tonight, plus clearing up things put aside during the game

THEN finally I got a test, won't complain about 152 at +10

Catcat was cheering only when I deployed the food

I did get DS's agreement to test and shoot Catcat while we are visiting our doctors this winter -- IF I can't find someone to caretake him in the meantime

if so, Catcat may have to go 11-1/2 hours between daytime shots, DS works 10 hour shifts 6 days a week, and it's a 35-45 minute drive each way

ETA -- he says he may be working shorter hours in the winter, the quarry doesn't go into full operation then, may also be closed due to outrageous weather

thunder and lightning and torrential rain
(if you watched the Seahawks-Bengals game you saw some of it)
Catcat spent a part of that time curled up in his cardboard box with the green plaid flannel shirt, catnip potholder, and toy he likes to kick
now curled up at my feet waiting for PMPS which is almost here
