Tigger's 9/6 condo

Lighting a candle now for Jill & charlie - what a shock. My heart & prayers go out to them - fly free & land softly Little Charlie......

Hope Marje's Gracie is feeling better & poop/vomiting have cleared. Special hugs to Barb :YMHUG: Also, healing vines to Jupe, Gobbles, Lucy, & any other's who need help & support.

2 cups-a-jo are becoming the norm here, I see, especially with Fall in the morning air.

Morning routine: River jumps out of bed @ 6AM, pads up the hall, yelling "HELLO"!! & into his parents room for snuggles & AM SS while parents try to sleep a little longer. Cue Spankey to meatoaf directly on beans. If he retains this position, the next maneuver is paw gently on face. Rinse & Repeat, till the beans can't stand it & Spankey's rolled. Next maneuver: retreat & usurp Tigger's position at the foot of the bed below my feet. This is a mistake, & the only time Tigger is reliably Alpha. MY SPOT - MINE! Tigger bellows, & the tussle begins, usu. with Spankey getting tossed again, but occasionally Tigger falls off the bed & is too embarrassed to return. Boys. ohmygod_smile

By now it's 6:50 & the beans are up!

We're all doing great here, you wouldn't know Tigger has FD, except that his rear legs are not as strong (even with zobaline 2x daily), & he's not quite as cuddly & love-bitey as before. But that could also be the 3 y/o DGS Tigger views as a TERROR - he stays in our bedroom unless DGS is sleeping or gone!

Hope you all have a great day!

Re: 9/7 Tigger AMPS/286 +2.2/118 fed #2 meal late :(

Tigger took me by surprise - tested 30 min. late @ +2.2 (was riding new bike DH got us for B-day :-D ) & he'd dropped to 118! Also fed meal #2 30 min. late -- should have tested & fed b-4 playing - completely forgot - BAD MOM! cat(2)_steam

Hi Ann! Still surfin @ +5/86, so I'm a happy girl today! Yes, new bike, too - DH took me to Trinity Cycles in GB - great store. We both got Electra Townie 7-speed 'comfort bikes'. Not for intense riding, though - just easy-peasy stuff, which is our speed, anyway!. Mine is lime green with white balloon tires & a brown seat. Must find ringie-bell to match!!

DH had a sailboat, plane, motorcycles, etc., but in the course of life & work, they all disappeared. He's been 'toyless' for a few years, which isn't good for him. So - Since I can't travel right now, he decided on bikes. Fun, healthy - what more can you ask for? We're going to ride the Bob Jones trail this afternoon or tomorrow. I'm babysitting DGS now, while Tig's numbers are still in the Watch Zone, but maybe later we'll ride the Oceano trail to the beach!

Evening, Suzanne! Those were some nice blues for Tigger this morning! Looks like the later feeding didn't do any damage - maybe it was even a good thing and kept him surfing! I am still trying to figure out the perfect time and proportion for Papaya's feedings.

I hope you enjoyed your bike ride . . . there's nothing but easy-peasy riding in my city because being on a river's flood plain there are nooooo hills (just potholes and bad drivers lol) so I have an awesome GT 3-speed Aerostream belt-driven bike with a big basket on front. What I need now is a beach
