Re: 9/7 Missy AMPS 356 PMPS 200

We are ate 200 this afternoon. I didn't do any midday checks to give her poor little ears a break. They've gotten a workout the past couple of days. I'm going with a 0.2 this evening. I forgot to pick her food up, so I'm not sure how much of this is food related. Plus, she's done so well on 0.2 previously. We'll give it a shot. No pun intended. ;-)

I decided to check Missy one last time before I go to bed. At +4 she's at 304?! I only shot 0.2, but usually she's lower by now. Is it possible that I checked her as her level was rising, she continued to rise for the 1-2 hours post shot as has been known to happen, and she's now on her way back down? I'm worried about was the morning number will look like. There's nothing I can do about it right now, but I'm just confused (once again) by what she's doing.

She thought to herself "hmmmm, my bean is starting to get the hang of this, what to do, what to do? oh I know.... a PINK #, that'll throw her off!!!!". Sometimes I am convinced the kitties are plotting against us!!!! ohmygod_smile

It's a puzzle. Could be the dose was too low. Could be the dose was too high (though she likes her greens, so that wouldn't be my first guess). Could be some wonky factor that threw this cycle off (got into dry food? some weird stress factor?).

More or less I'd say you need more data to know for sure what is going on. If you get an inverse curve pattern - stays high all cycle and drops at the end, dose was probably too high. If you get a shallow U-curve - maybe she drops a little from here, but not too much, and then goes higher as the cycle ends, dose was probably too low.

I know you're right, Joanna. She hangs out in the office all day by the computer... I swear she surfs the net trying to find new ways to throw me for a loop!

It has been storming all night and I couldn't sleep, so I came to check on her, expecting a crazy number. Now she gives me a 262. Kind of like "Sorry I freaked you out last night. Here's a pretty yellow to make up for it." Never a dull moment...
