YAY! Another nice evening for Mannie last night's PM cycle. :mrgreen: Yesterday's morning cycle was more like a game of BG volleyball (I secretly think Mannie spent to much time at the beach yesterday playing vole-eyball with all his LL buddies, and it transferred to his BG levels). We have a nice start this morning - a 201 at amps. I hope he can continue from here, and doesn't bounce from last nights trip to the greens.

Once again Mannie had to supervise my attempts at looking presentable this morning. I got the once over, but no purrs of verbal comments. Hmmmmmm, might have to rethink this mornings wardrobe. :roll: He's in a good mood this morning, lots of purrs at test time, several verbal comments at this mornings breffis: still a member of the clean plate club. Breffis #2 offered up in the feeder, ignored until I put his nose in it. :roll: :lol: Will see how he does with #3. Interior secured, also a brief glance at the outdoors, which is wet, cool, and a definite promise of more rain. Mannie just went to bed instead of pursuing the "let me out" option. normalcy in Mannie-land.

My Mama said we made a mess at Duchess's house yesterday...
I don't know what happened but Raja & I didn't mess up anything
at all. And someone told that I said a bad joke...I don't even know
what a bad joke is Mannie.... So we are both grounded now.
We are supposed to stay home and "think about it". :sad:
Ginger will take you over to meet Duchess and said she will clean
up whatever is there....she is so sweet to do that...hope you have
fun. What is a dirty joke Mannie? Do you know?

New toys for Mannie? Gabby isn't interested in the springs, but Gizmo loves them! If Mannie likes playing soccer or fetch, these are great toys.

Hey Mannie, another exciting nighttime cycle, huh? Hope you didn't keep your mamabean up too late! We're going to meet Duchess today and I think it would be nice to make her a little dish (she isn't used to real food--just dry kibble). What would you say to some grilled salmon on a bed of field greens? I've asked Spot to bring his spices, and I'm sure Raja & Tess will help in the preparations while Shadow "supervises" and keeps out of the way.

Stu!! I did it! I am now blue so we can surf our way to Duchess's. I LOVE the salmon idea! Very good choice. Do you have enough? We have salmon in the streams and the sound by my house - should I go and catch some? I hope Duchess likes it - dry kibble is so yuck. It will be good to show her how good real food is. We will have to make sure that Shadow supervises - he is smitten with Duchess, and well ya know might not be able to concentrate and stuff - KWIM? See you soon. ~~ Mannie

YAY! we hit blue, though I wish he had gotten there a little slower. I fed some additional LC, see if we can hold him here for a bit. I do need to head on over to my sons at +6 for a bit - soooooooo Mannie, surf the blues for a while, you can go green anytime after I get home. :-D

Good day for Mannie yesterday, and it looks like this one's shaping up to be that way, too! :-D Good luck at your son's house; it doesn't sound nearly as fun as a book and a cozy blanket, though.

Who's Duchess? I remember when I ate dry kibble, but I was so excited when that first can of wet food hit my dish, I NEVER looked back! I bet with wonderful home cooking from you and Stu, Duchess will be hooked for life. I asked my bean what a dirty joke is, and she said that it's something that someone says which is funny but can also be a little bit mean or gross (like jokes about poop). I also asked her about the word "inappropriate" and she said it means that it's something you shouldn't do. I wonder why someone said that Shadow told a dirty joke. :cry: I hope he and Raja get to come out of grounding soon. Have a fun day, ok?

Hey Buzz! Shadow and Raja are off the hook - seems they were innocent after all. :-D And Duchess invited them back!! YAY! btw: Duchess is a foster kitty that Carolyn has taken in. She was a mom kitty that needed a better life, so Carolyn is working towards that, so that some day she will be adoptable to a really nice family. She only knows kibble. The food that we get when we go green is just soooooooooooooooooooooooo good, and I am really hungry, and that would be really yummy, and beats that chicken stuff she always gives me .
