Our deepest condolences to Jill this morning on the sudden crossing of Charlie. Fly free, little one. We are heartbroken.....it's hard enough for one of our LL babies to cross in a week (still grieving with Barb over Checkers), but two......  We also hope all ailing kitties....Jupe, Lucy, and any others....are feeling better today as well as all their mummies and daddies.
LBG is back!!! She seemed to feel so much better last night and she is rockin' and rollin' in true crazy baby style this morning and mommy's face looks like this --------->
The tilesetters are here this morning putting travertine on the face of the bar in the kitchen and it's so nice and cool out that I just left Tobey and Gracie on the catio with water and LB and closed the door. WELL!!!! cat(2)_steam cat(2)_steam cat(2)_steam the Principessa is not happy!!! Of course, if the door wasn't closed, she'd happily stay out there all day but since it's closed, she sits and stares at the door and anytime I pop my head around to look out there, I get a 'SUP? And WHY are we staying out here??????.
Thank you all for your amazing support and prayers. Thanks, Suzanne, for the links to the gastroenteritis in cats. While the IM Specialist was a little dismissive of hairballs causing the problem, Mike and I know how much hair she vomited up and even the chunk that came out in her stool yesterday. I have to wonder if the slippery elm I gave her the other night helped clear the rest of it out? And here is the other interesting tidbit. Dr. B has been keeping in close contact by phone during the day and email, even late at night, and she emailed me early this morning that Gracie's second Elisa test for Giarida was negative!!! So she is going to call the lab Monday and try and figure that one out. I got prezzies from both boys this morning and ran them to the vet.
Everyone is doing well....Gus has been an eating machine YAY!!!!! Tobey is a little off his food but I think it is the metronidazole as he did this last time he was on it.
I got some sleep but Gus got me up at 2:30 am and 5 am to feed him even though I fed him a ton last night before bed hoping it would carry him over. It's a cloudy, rainy day here and as soon as the tilesetters leave, I will be able to nap.
Again, thank you all.....you are amazing on so many different levels :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
