Hi, all.

I dropped him down to .25 units last night and it is difficult to dose such a little amount. Both last night and this morning, I wasn't even sure if there was insulin in the syringe!

Anyways, he's in the 200s now... Should I go right back to .50 units tonight or hold the .25 for a day or two?

Hi Jim,
Simmy is so handsome! I haven't been here long enough to know you, but here is my take - I believe I would go back to .5. It looked like a good dose, but I see why you tried a decrease. Have you thought of trying a dose between .25 and .5, using digital calipers? Or a tiny bit below .5, instead of a .25 decrease?

You've only had two cycles on this dose. You need to give him time to come back down and see what he does before you increase again.

I was trying to understand the reduction number. Is it under 70 always? Or 50?!
