WCR: Some Ps in place. Woke up this morning to some vomit in the living room...food mixed with hair, but no hair"ball", so I don't know if it was due to hair or something else. Her appetite was non-existent this morning, so I gave her 1/2 tab Cerenia & 1/8 tab cypro. She did finally start eating, but she is not herself today and she definitely doesn't feel well. I don't know what's going on with her. I laid down on the couch to take a cat nap with her and she wouldn't come lay with me...totally unusual. While she was laying there, I started messing with her tail; holding it, scratching it, pulling on it...she didn't bat an eye. After about 2 seconds, she should have been hissing at me, clawing at me and trying to bite the s*** out of me. Several times this morning and early afternoon, she would "call" to me, but it was more of a cry...again, unusual for her. I'm not 100% certain what the crying was really for, but I would grab a bowl of her fuds and hold it for her as she ate. That seemed to satisfy her for a short while. Oh...and she's been slobbery lately. Don't know if that is a big deal. Allergies and sinuses have been really bad for both of us lately...maybe explains the slobber?

As soon as I got on my computer, she wanted to sit on my lap.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

@Anne & Zener (GA) (Liz) & @carfurby (Carla) - Thanks for the vines and hugs. I really don't know if she has chronic p'titis. I feel like she does, but no proof. I'm on the fence tonight about whether to give her a dose of Bupe tonight. She did just eat a bit of Friskies Tuna and now she's back on her heating blanket.

I continue to wonder about neurological issues. I know I've thought this for a while and have never taken her to a specialist. At this point, if they were to find something neurological, I doubt it would be treatable and I don't know why I brought this up anyways. Maybe, it's just me trying to have a conversation with myself...since Shasta won't answer me. o_O :( Ok, I'm going to go back to staring at her and petting her and trying to snuggle with her. Thanks again for listening to my ramblings.

Adding more hugs and prayers. I understand needing to "talk it out"...it does help to vocalize things, even if you're just trying to work them through in your own mind.

I hope Shasta is feeling better tonight. I think some people do go with a maintenance level of bupe daily...I wish I could remember who so you could specifically ask, but maybe include that in your subject line. I imagine she could be kind of "spacy" or non-reactive if she's zoned out by p-titis pain...just a thought.

Also, if she's slobbery, I would wonder about a dental issue. I can't remember...when she was in recently, did they give her teeth a good once-over?

I hope you got good snuggles...
