Yesterday

LagoonMeister Rusty is mending the shark nets today. He had pretty good appetite (RAWZ Turkey and Instinct Duck). We decided to wait until tomorrow to go down to camp because the weather is awful. We didn't want to sit around in the cabin all afternoon today and all day tomorrow in the rain. So tomorrow we'll go down, do the pit crewing at the 90 Miler on Friday (rain predicted) and come home on Saturday. I probably won't post after tomorrow morning. But Rusty wants to let all the kitties know that there will be a Full Harvest Moon Party tomorrow night, even if it rains!

bbl. Got to go downstairs to hold Rusty's bowl.

We are watching hurricane Irma carefully and hoping that all of our FDMB members in the storm's path will stay safe.

Hope your weather is better tomorrow. We had rain most of the day today too and a high of 59 Hate that summer is on the wane.

Rusty, you are looking marvelous !! Thanks for mending the shark nets and hopefully some kitties will be caught in them. Shark nets = reducies and we all like that!

Watch for those shark bites Rusty! Glad you've got a food (for now) that he likes. Neko liked the Instinct Duck for a while too. We didn't have Rawz around then.

Have fun with pit crew duties, even if it does rain. Feel free to send rain here! Back to smokey skies again from forest fires, this time from the south of us.

I'm amazed at the amount of support from FDMB members for peeps in the hurricane zone, and how much past experience there is.

When I was out with China this morning, the moon was still out and it was beautiful

Bright orange and as full as it could be!!

It is horrible what is happening with all those fires in the PNW. Where's all the usual rain? (oh, it's here in the northeast!)

They have promised us some for end of week. Paws crossed. I'm sure the fall rains will come soon enough, just could have used a little down payment on them.

It is SO SMOKEY here in Seattle from the forest fires to the east of us . There has been ash falling on everything for the last 2 days.
It's really sad. The moon has been a beautiful copper orange, it's hard to enjoy though.
