Yesterday
A purple & red day with the lowest yellow at PMPS.
Today
A bright & sunny day with a bit of wind. All is well in Tortieland.
Copy decided that she didnt like those stitches on her butt. She removed the middle stitch by herself, somehow. Remaining the top & bottom stich still intact. The vet had asked me to have her wear the E-collar but cats at Tortieland never agreed to wear that ugle plastic around their neck. Everytime, they came back with the collar, after the anestesia's wore off, they'll remove it on their own. So, just have to watch & remind them not to pick on those stitches. Ive send a beauitful closeup pic of Copy's butt to the vet & he said he had expected it & no need to take Copy back atm. Fingers crossed that she take it easy with her stitches.

AMPS 385 gave canned breakfast & 0.7u (food at +2)
AM+4 360

:?: Rosy will complete her 8th cycle on the reducie to 0.7u today. So far, other than a green 77 on the third cycle, the rest is bright purple & red ohmygod_smile I'll take her back to 0.8u if nothing for today. One thing Ive noticed is that her PS numbers are on constant purple, no matter on what dosage.

I don't think there are any cats who willingly wear the cone of shame.

Rosy does seem to like that bouncing. Shadow thinks she needs to learn to surf instead.

Hi Helen

Well...she got intogergen a.m. Cycle 9/4. She could still be bouncing. I'd let her clear before you increase.

Hope you are well and Copy gets used to the collar!

Yes, I'll wait till tomorrow to decide on resuming back to her old dose.

Thanks Michelle! Isnt it frustrating going up & down on the dosage? :roll: Forget about OTJ, getting Rosy regulated is hard enough! I'll give it another day to make sure there is no bounce before increasing her back to 0.8u

I so hear you on that - all we are after is regulation. I'd settle for that. Good luck! I so understand the frustration.

Good evening Helen. So sorry about Copy's bum. I had to chuckle about you taking a picture. I would have done the same thing but some people would think we have gone mad, and they might be right :lol:

Hope Rosy's bouncing clear quickly for you. It is frustrating. I too would so love to get Asher regulated so I know how you feel. OTJ has left my mind since that doesn't appear to be in the cards for us, but we must keep up hope for the best possible for the fur kids. We press on!

Oh the up and down! We have been up and down the dosing ladder three times in the last 2 years. It is aggravating, but as long as the kitty is feeling good oh well.

Poor Copy! Our kids don't wear those either. Have a great night Helen!

Hi Devon! Nice to see you at Rosy's condo. I keep reminding myself of Mocha's journey to OTJ. This helps me to go on the up & down the dosage ladder.

Oh Melissa, glad to know that your "kids" don't wear the collar too! My vets always say I spoiled them too much! :lol:

Hi Helen, Good luck with the new dose! I hope Rosy likes it and shows her appreciation by giving you some nice numbers.

I am also laughing at cat butt photography for Copy! :lol: When Pearl had bladder surgery our vet put her in a soft collar. Its cloth with some stiffener inside that sounds like crackle toys. After she got over being afraid of it herself, she quickly figured how to shake it around her head to terrorize our other cats.
