Short version is I think you need more data (sorry!), otherwise it's just stabs in the dark as to what is going on. Could be he saw nice blues today and his liver is protesting, could be he just went higher all day, who knows. Wish I could tell from the #s you have what is going on, maybe some can, but I can't. Nice that you are able to get PSs at least lately, YAY! If you could get one mid-cycle check maybe every 2nd or 3rd day, I think that might help you fill in the puzzle pieces.

Sorry but I agree with Joanna, without mid cycle tests you just don't know what is going on for 12 hours. He could be high, he could be low, you just don't know.
Have you given any more thought to letting the vet do the curve? I still think that's a good idea to at least be able to see the pattern.

Yes, I was MIA, have been on night works. And we were busy. Now that labor day is gone, life can go back to somewhat normal. :mrgreen:
I am going to call the vet tomorrow about this. I started to do a curve on saturday and lost 3 fingers. He is such a creep about this. He is usually nasty so I can never tell by his actions how he feels. :?
I do agree with you all that I need more data. This poor cat.
I REALLY am trying my best, which doesn't seem to be enough.
Oh, and someone peed all over my counter when I got home this morning had a nice surprise. So one of my 8 cats has an issue besides Mickey.

OMG you're down to 5 fingers. :shock:
We know you are doing the best you can, some cats are just more challenging than others.
That's why letting the vet do it will let you keep your remaining 5 fingers and give you a picture of how he is processing the insulin.
I think they have special gloves.

I am going to talk to the vet in the am. I have to stay up after work anyway to give Mickey his shot at 9:30 am.
I know they will need special gloves. :roll:
Maybe he is the one peeing on the counter? Blood work in order here I think. $$$ This really stinks, my kitchen is getting gutted this week. This will help with the numbers too.
