9/6 Chicken's 6+ & PMPS

Yesterday the 6+ was 222
PMPS was 424
and today the AMPS 283
She did not have a poop yesterday. I think that she is constipated. Anybody can tell me what I should give her for that?

Some people use Miralax. Some use pumpkin - not the pie filling, the pure pumpkin with no sugars. If you go up to the Search function at the top and type in constipation, you'll get ideas and exact amounts for the Miralax.

Do you add water to the food? Sometimes that helps keep them regular. It might also be the medication she is on.

Yes I always mix with water. I make it like a soup. Im sure that all her good flora is messed up because of the antibiotics. Im going to see about a probiotic for her.

3 units on a 222 is a pretty aggressive dose, Terri. I wish you could get some more midcycle numbers. Might watch her tonight - you have been shooting less insulin in the 200s.

I watched her overnight and she was fine. I will get a 6+ today. This morning her AMPS was 300. Shot 3 units. I wont be so aggressive next time. I dont know what I was thinking! Or should I say I was not thinking when I done it!! @-)

and PMPS was 241 shot with 2 units
