9/6 Benjamin AMPS 141 - Can I move shot time?

Thanks to everyone who helped with advice and concern last night. Benjamin is feeling much better today and couldn't wait for breakfast. So after last night, his shot schedule is off by 1.5 hours since I waited to shoot. Can I slowly move the time back to get him back on his original schedule?

HI Cindy, You can adjust his shot time back by up to 15 min per cycle which moves you up to 30 min per day. That is the safe amount to ensure insulin doses are not too close together.

You can also do it 30 mins ONCE a day. This is my preferred method so I'm not dealing with quarter hours. An example:

Let's say your regular shot time is 7 and you shot at 8:30. Then your make up schedule for once a day would be:
Tonight: shoot at 8
Tomorrow night: shoot at 7:30
Sat night: shoot at 7

For 15 mins twice a day:
This morning: shoot at 8:15
tonight: 8:00
tomorrow morning: 7:45
tomorrow night: 7:30
Sat morning: 7:15
Sat night: 7

They both put you back on schedule Sat night. I just think the 30 mins once a day is easier to keep track of But it's personal preference.
