She's doing well. She did not ask for food as loudly yesterday evening. Limping a little after her jump in the garden, but it's better this morning, and did not bother her to run.
@Bandit's Mom I have a question for you: before I left you told me to feed her at +2, +4 and +6. Would you still do that now that I'm home? Or is it OK to go back to +3 and +6? I don't use the feeder during the day so it's not exactly +2 or +3 anyway, but just to have your opinion on that! Thank you :-)

Hi Cecile I found the thread you are talking about I think she meant when you were going to be away like you said. Let's see what Bhooma says I don't see why you can't feed her at +3 and @+5 unless you test her @+2 and she drops really low and you have to feed her.
From what I have seen members post is try not to feed @+6 because you don't want to shorten the duration of the Lantus but if she's hungry give her a small snack

Hi Cecile, didn't get the tag. How are you feeding her now? Yes, snacks at +2 and +4 would be good. You could avoid the +6 (like Diane said, snacks past nadir can reduce duration) if she can stay 8 hours without food - some cats develop stomach acid if there are long gaps between meals. Of curse, there are cycles like today where you do want to feed a snack later in the cycle to keep them surfing.

Lovely numbers today! :D

I feed her at +3 and then 4 and 6. She has a snack at +3.
She was vomiting during the night, that’s why I started feeding her at +6, back a few months ago. It worked well. Tomorrow I will try to move it earlier. But not too much, I don’t want her to start throwing up again.
