wow, that spreadsheet helps a lot sam. looking at it one can see the definite curve. you've done a great job of getting a lot of tests in, D. really great job!!!

you're having to do a lot right now only because of the not eating/not-at-the-right-dose yet situation - think a teeter-totter. there are a lot of factors balancing for Baby. Once we get the teeter totter to stop moving quite so much you'll get a break. it's just really intensive right now. i would think we're literally only talking days, so not to keep repeating, but just hang in there.

if there is a moment to breathe tonight, see if you can get a ketone check in. here's some ways to do that:
you can stick the strip in his urine stream,
you can put little cups of foil or dixie cups into the litter in the area he uses
you can stick an old soup ladle or something similar under him to try to catch some urine
you can use a makeshift box (i use a box lid inside a garbage bag) with lentils, gravel, aquarium gravel - something that won't absorb the urine and then dip the strip in a puddle

make sure you follow the package directions carefully on the timing.
