Re: 9/5 Snoball AMPS=263

Guess you decided not to "shoot through the bounce". That's ok. With all the drama going on lately with the kitties and the issue with the temporary foster, I'm sure it was better to reduce. We'll be patient and wait for Snoball to come down from his bounce.

Re: 9/5 Snoball AMPS=263

I must say I am very proud of my Sno and his bounce level! I was expecting it to be in the 300s. May still go there but maybe not. This morning I started thinking of Remission and whether that could be possible. In the past it has all been about regulating without any hope of remission.

I did not feel good about shooting through last nights low numbers because I knew I would not be available to do a lot of testing. Durn funerals - so much unnecessary drama and effort! ..and I don't have sisters, just brothers.

Anyway, after tomorrow the funeral stuff will be over. I have warned my guest that tempsugarfoster will be out of isolation and will probably follow her around and sleep with her. Good thing she is a cat-lover.

Just to clarify. I was thinking you could have shot the higher dose this morning, and then do the reduction.

No way was I expecting you to shoot last night and stay up testing. I know this is a very difficult time that you are going through.

Robin, you have to remember, funerals are not for the dead, they are for the living.

If you believe in the bible, it says 'the dead know nothing'. Can I tell you where that's at? No, been too long.

Funerals are for the survivors of those that have gone ahead. A time to remember that person.

Personally, I think too much money is spent on funerals and I'd be pissed to know it was done for me. I'd rather have it donated to a good cause, but that's just me and I don't adjust well.

Hang in there girl, it'll all be over soon, Sno will be settled in again and life will get back to normal. :thumbup

Re: 9/5 Snoball AMPS=263

My mother wrote pages of instructions for what she wanted sung and read at her funeral along with where to spread her ashes and even whom to notify. Those people are all deceased, she's getting a little room in the funeral parlor with about ten people, I am singing "Ave Maria" and we will have two of the poems read. Thirty minutes is all... But I have a brother who wants me to uninvite my mother's closest friend because he doesn't like her. I can't seem to get him to understand that funerals aren't by invitation. They are open to everybody... and as a Christian, he should not shun anybody.

I know that she is in peace and will sleep until the second coming of our Lord when we will be called up to be with Him in His Kingdom (I just got my BS in Religion at Liberty University). Luckily we pre-arranged her funeral expenses to get the monies out of her account so Medicaid could pay for her nursing home stay. It is not a big deal although the internment is cool because her ashes are going to be placed in the ground of my father's grave at Quantico and her info will be inscribed on the back of his stone. He died in March. It is a beautiful cemetary and then afterwards we are gonna party!!! at my house with a celebration barbeque because, well, that was mentioned in her instructions as well

My brother has chosen not to attend but his wife is coming up tonight  to sleep with the tempsugarfoster who has gained two pounds and will be with me until the 17th - and no later. She's feisty for a 14 year old sickly thing with mostly HI on her SS chart

I haven't really been sad yet because my mother was in so much pain and distress so it is a relief. I think it will hit me tomorrow and then I will have the weekend to snuggle with Sno, Nuzzles, Bing, Brio and Emmylou.

Aww Hon, much love to you. :YMHUG:

I don't know why I thought it was a distant family member, I'm sorry.
