Morning everyone! Shadow is busy eating his breffis...I put another shaving of freeze-dried chicken on top and he went back to eat a little more. I had a nice primal scream while on the Ledge and now I feel better. Plus, the blues he just got brought me back into the land of the sociable and hopeful. :razz: He seems very happy and I hear the little bird chirping so that means he is feeling frisky too...P for playing!

They were thinking that another party day is in order...how about some Jet skiing and maybe a trip on the Dolphin Watch boat? Hope you can all come to celebrate the long weekend...hang out on the beach after that again. There are waves enough for anyone who might have the urge to surf too!! Shadow may or may not join you...but he will be at the beach anyway. Ginger is on her way already...who else can come? The are setting up camp under the big green umbrella...see you later kitties! Nice AMPS Shadow and Pat.

I can relate to the Ledge. Its funny how my mood reflects Curry's BG numbers. When they are elevated, I'm down. When they are down, I'm high (oops, maybe not high...how about happy).

Much better today!

Did you know that the term Nadir (I was just clarifying it on Health) is typically used to describe (in addition to it's astronomy definition) a persons feelings. For example "My depression reached it's nadir today." So If we were to do a curve of Pat and Shadow's BG vs. emotions we would get 2 directly inverse curves! :lol:

I have been really really trying to divorce myself emotionally from his numbers. It is proving to be an impossible task though. :roll: I want to just "state the facts Ma'am" and not get "happy :-D or sad :sad: about them.

I'm very happy that Shadow gave you a blue amps. I understand completely about your emotions following his numbers - I do the same thing. It's very hard to think positive sometimes.

Hey Shadow - that's a pretty nice AMPS you threw out there this morning. Emma's down there now, but she doesn't start there very often. Get yourself down to the greens and go surfing at your beach party! Emma can come to the fiesta...I don't know that she'll be under the green umbrella, but she's heading out the door right now, mumbling something about how I won't be able to poke her ears if she's not in the house....

Morning Pat. I'm not really sure what you mean by "the Ledge" (as I haven't been following condos so much since being at my dad's house), but I do know how to do the primal scream ;-)

I see that Shadow is in nice blues today. J.D. is on the same floor.

I hope you enjoy your day. Please tell Ginger I miss her. She probably doesn't even think of me, anymore :roll:

DYANA..Of COURSE she thinks of you. They have finally convinced her that you miss her a lot and that you will be coming home to her soon. She thought you guys were gone for good. isn't it something how they can misunderstand things some times. I think she gets it now...a vacation away from home and then one goes back home again. :razz:
But for now, she is not thinking of you and is trying out a jet ski...don't worry...she had lessons!

Ive been preppin' Duchess for the party coming up. She is SOOOOO lucky to be included in these! She has no idea. She may be a little shy, despite her good nature and energy because she is not used to lots of cats being nice to her. Maybe its a good idea to send Shadow and Raja this way at some point (tomorrow?), to help ease her anxiety. Thanks!

Johnny enjoyed hanging out with everyone at the beach today! And what a nice surprise to see Mr. Shadow heading toward the umbrella. Poor mama bean. It's really hard not to get emotionally attached to the numbers. Welcome back from the Ledge. I hope there's dust all over everything next time you visit.
 
Nice day for Shadow today Pat. Looks like he gets worried when you go out on the ledge. He's making sure you have no reason to go there.

Tess said she had fun at the beach and wants to thank her host and hostess. She was feeling a little embarrassed about the pink and stayed out of the way though.

That is so nice and considerate of you to send Shadow and Raja over to meet Duchess (tomorrow) alone and in advance, so that she can feel more comfortable with the gang at the next party. That is so cool that she is going to get to meet a whole bunch of nice and fun kitties :-D

Thank you so much Pat, for including Ginger in the activities of Raja and Shadow and their friends and fellow FDMBers, and for reporting about her, because it really does make me feel better. I've received 1 phone call and 1 missed message from the people who are babysitting her "yes, she ate, she's fine". You, Pat, have been a god send :YMHUG:
