I like these blues much better. Neko's doing pretty well today, 5 P's and CPC. She really gets her purr engine going when she's on her memory foam bed, it must feel so good. She's still not quite back to rabid hungry acrocat, but getting close. I wouldn't mind if this is the new normal, but I'd always worry about why the change.

Sunny day today, cats are out baking in the solarium. I've been taking a few pictures, trying to find the perfect one for the calendar. Just a couple days left - why do I always procrastinate? Actually, she wasn't looking happy last week, so I'll use that as my excuse. :lol:

Another late condo, beans were on the water again. September is so much nicer. Not quite so boiling hot, way less boat traffic. We saw a couple of unusual things today (besides the usual jellyfish and seals). As we were just starting out, I saw a river otter paddling nearby. There is a stream nearby and it was probably just having fun in the "big" water. Lots to eat around there too. And on the way back, we saw someone biking on water, like this.

Biking on the water!!? I've never seen that before! How lucky for you to be able to see all of that wildlife on a regular basis! It was such a thrill for me when we were on vacation to see sea lions, seals and otters someplace other than a zoo!

I'm not sure if I should send appy vines to Neko since it sounds like she's doing really well overall or "stop worrying" vines to you. I'm sending both your way; take whichever ones you need.

Have you ever tried biking on water? It looks like it would be harder than riding a regular bike. Of course, I'm a couch potato and think walking to the refrigerator for something to eat is taxing. :lol:

Hope some greens are in the near future for Miss Neko!

Yay for almost back to Neko normal! Are those inflatable pontoons on the water bike? I'd hate to spring a leak... Another wonderful day on the water.

I'm glad Neko is doing so well. Those blues are nice. That biking on the water is a crazy idea.

So close to the lagoon, maybe if I'd testing 10 minutes either way. :lol: Neko's back to being best friends with Otto. I got a few pictures of her hovering in front of him. She also went out on the deck for a while today - she hadn't done that when she was feeling off.

@Tara, Shelly, Liz, Carla, Marje - Thanks for checking in on my little girl. Nice day of blues and I'm hopeful I'll see more greens soon. She was hollering at me early for dinner, so that parts back to normal. :lol: I had to take a double and triple check today on the water bike. It was quite a ways away, but it looked just like some guy biking along the shore to his house on those yellow pontoons. Good point Liz about a leak. :shock:

Hooray for Hungry Neko being back!! I knew she wouldn't stay away from Otto too long. :lol: Great to see her back in blue, too, and sooooo close to the lagoon. I hope you're going to share those pics of her!

OMG on the bike. :shock: I can't imagine doing that in SF Bay - it can be pretty choppy and cold and it's a long way across. I, too, would be terrified of springing a leak. You'd have to have a waterproof bag to carry stuff in, if you were commuting to work, and a change of clothes, 'cause you're sure to get wet! Might be fun for just buzzing around a small, quiet body of water, though. An expensive toy!
