9/5 Mego Update

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give you all a quick update on Mego. All is still very well at the falls. Mego's BGs have been very nice ever since he has been OTJ. He has settled into a nice healthy weight (around 10 lbs) and is looking good. We also celebrated a big milestone - Mego turned 16 last month and we celebrated in style with lots of treats (the healthy kind of course) and new toys. So I just wanted to let you all know, for those that helped and supported me and Mego through our FD ordeal, that we are doing very well thanks to you all.

And a special side note: I want to personally thank everyone who has helped Jamie & Jupiter through these last few months. I hold all of you very near and dear to my heart for all the support you've given to them. You all deserve the best. So please give yourselves a big hug from Katie & Mego.

I hope you all are doing well and that you find the strength each day to continue doing what you do for everyone here. Sending healing vines to those that need it and strength to those who are exhausted.

Congratulations Katie and Mego!!

You're "before my time" as China was diagnosed in May and didn't start Lantus until June (today's our 3 month anniversary for being on Lantus). It's stories like yours that keep my hopes up that we can do it too! Even if it takes a little longer, we're in it to win it!

Happy Belated Birthday too Mego!! Sounds like a great party!!
