Yesterday was... stripe day! yellow and blue stripe day. ;-) Mannie did make some lower blues, so that was nice to see. We need more Mannie! Think blue, OK? We had a bit of an appy issue last night, when it came to the additional feeds, after his +2. He seemed interested, just didn't want the offerings, until we got to the Elegant Medleys. 8 opened cans, and finally he decided the EM's were what he wanted. sheshhhh - holding out for the good stuff, hey Mannie? What a guy.... :lol: Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had another gorgeous sunny day in the PNW yesterday - made 70 I think. I survived my dental appt in the morning, and let Mannie outside when I got home. One happy dude! He must ave made a dozen trips out there in the afternoon, one after another. He'd go and do a perimeter check, and then come in to spend some time with the nanners. Then off again to check the ground cover and survey his domain, then back in again for more nanner time. Then off to sunbathe, then back in for even more nanner time. I should install a revolving door for him. :lol: :lol: :lol: All in all a great day for him! :cool: his morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club (YAY, membership still intact), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa too (again)... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am not too sure what will be here today. I really need to clean the deck, like pressure wash clean... but ugh on that. OH! Almost forgot: no Nicholas this week - major BUMMER, as his mom and dad are on vacation. Rumor has it that he will be going to camp at the coast for a couple of days. What fun!

I love sailing... and pack a picnic lunch and stuff, maybe bring some grillin' stuff too. I now that Tess has been missing doing her Titanic thing on the bow.... You guys in?? Let me know... Nice day yesterday with those blues. Let's see more of them, k big guy? Oh no! No Nicholas??? I don't know who will be more upset, you or Mannie. It will definitely be a big reunion next week then. I hope they have a great time on their vacation.

Glad your dental went well! That silly guy on the in and out. Charlie is like that but that is how dogs are suppose to be. "Time to let me in so I can tell you I want to go out." Good to know the nanners were not neglected though. Ugh is right on the power washing. Maybe just take some time for yourself! That would be a good way to spend vacation, since you are on vacation as well.

I so voe a blue amps. :-D and yes no Nicholas! omg... kid withdrawal here. :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol: thanks,, me too on their vacation. I so hope they make the coast.... yupp on the in and out. My otehr civvie will do that daily - she gets in only yo want back out 5 minutes later. Morning Michelle, thanks on the White Peppermint Mocha...today may be the day! :-D Nice blue AMPS to start the day. Glad you survived your dental, but oh no with no Nicholas. Mannie will be looking for the little one. Did you get a shore walk in yesterday? Have fun on what you decide, chores or hike maybe. I think Mannie is going to have a nice surf today, looking good.

Hi Ella - I know....no Nicholas. what will I do? :o ;-) and yes. I do have a list of home projects that I need to do, and just haven't been able too. Today is pressure wash the deck. Not hard, just takes time... after that - shore hike. FUN!!

Hi Helen ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL on the white mocha - yep, been drinking that for a long time... it's a Starbucks thing: one of their holiday promos that I just have year round. White mocha with a little peppermint added. A tad bit on the sweet side, but ever so tasty if one likes white chocolate. :-D I think Mannie is listening to you - we seem to be headed to the greens, after a great blue start. Way cool!

Hi guys .. yes!! Look at these numbers! Now this is what I'm talking about mannie .. you look so good in blues .. Ahh .. 70's .. what perfect weather! We have rumors of those temps headed our way as well .. can't wait! I bet Nicholas will have a blast camping .. probably will have to show his mom and dad the ropes on rocks and stick collecting! I love this weather: sunny, with a hint of Fall, great time of the year. Me too on Nicholas and the camp trip. I so hope they have decided to go. paws crossed! I have no doubt that he will give mom and dad a lesson or two on how to throw rocks and sticks. The kid is master. :lol: :lol:

appy is now just a little off. we had a very short vetty visit squeezed into the last two tests - for a weight check, and more UTI meds, so maybe that is why... ;-) weight has stabilized, so that is good.

Another fabulous day for Mannie! Amazing he manages to keep the numbers down in spite of the quick vetty visit. I hope he lets you out in a little while to enjoy the day. Power washing is another of my to-do items too. I got some of it done in the spring, and then is sort of fizzled off. It's such a boring task.

Michelle, you must have a Starbucks close by, lucky you. It's a bit of a drive for us - not far, but probably a 1/2 hour walk. I heard that the pumpkin spice items are going to be available soon!

Hi Wendy - it is interesting with him and the vetty visits - they do not spike his BG, often I bring him back and he's gone down. Go figure on that one... :? And yes - he's been good, and I hadn't planned on going anywhere today anyways. Not having Nicholas this week has freed up some time to do these chores that keep hanging over my head... like pressure washing the deck. About halfway done now - WOO HOO! :razz: :razz: I so agree - it is a boring task! and I always find after i'm done a spot I missed... on starbucks: and yes I do. It's about 1.5 miles from the house, so often I get up test and give Mannie his shot then head on up for coffee. It's a nice start to the day for me. I have heard that there pumpkin spice is due to come out soon, haven't seen it yet. I expect that any day now. YAY!
