I am so saddened to read of the passing of Checkers. Fly free little one. We will so miss you, never ever forget you. Land softly at the Bridge, where so many of our GA's await your arrival, candles glowing in the softened light so that you may easily find your way....

Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!WACKY WEDNESDAY is over!!! What a relief. I hope Lola and Bug didn't go too wacky. There have been no complaints so maybe all is well with Paw Prints Pizza. Today they is chillin' after yesterday's spillage of the whip cream in the kitchen. It was EVERYWHERE! I thins they did it on purpose: sure was fun though, slippin' and slidin' in all that whip. SWEET! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. My DD has gone back to work, half days for a few weeks. So yesterday is day one of my having both boys: William and Nicholas. We did OK! We have a few adjustments to make, but all are quite doable, and manly just involve allowing more time to care for basic baby needs: like feeding! ;-) We did make swimming, in an outdoor pool, which though cool, was fun. Here's what I posted in last night's post about yesterday: "WOOT on day one with both boys. We survived today. It went OK, the morning moved along well, with both boys. Nicholas really wanted to help with everything related to William, from the toys to the diapers to the feedings. He so loves his little bro: he a good job, sure did try. We ended up swimming, at my DMIL outdoor pool. Pool temp was at 82, good enough and warm. What did the little guy in was the outside temps of 58, the fog and drizzle rolled into that. We did about 30 minutes until he was just too cold, had the shivers. As hard as he plays it just wasn't enough to generate enough warmth. He did have a blast in those 30 minute though: the energizer FISH was hard at work, diving, jumping, underwater seeks, swimming as best he could, playing with noodles and a float mat. Anything and everything he could get his hands on. he tells me he was done and too cold now. LOL. No complaints there - he had fun while there so YAY! AND (!!) on an extremely good note: DMIL tells me she would love to watch William on the days she is off so I can take Nicholas to the pool. a big yahoo on that. I won't then have to worry about how to handle a 3 month old in the water, or take Nicolas swimming at nght once William is home. So should her work schedule allow she will take a morning or two a week. awesome. I so hope this means I will not have to take Nicholas swimming in the evening. I think so! more awesome. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D " Swimming!, and Nicholas and William.... and Lola. The last album are photos taken throughout the morning, just random shots. It was a good start for the boys.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille.   The kitties have been good kitties! Even Lola! It has been on the coolish side here - enough so that Elsa prefers the cozy comfy bed for napping, with an occasional venture outdoors. Bug has been busy chasing Lola. SHeshhhh.... He so edges her on. LOL: doesn't take much to get Lola going.  Lola continues to be Lola. She seems to really like William too: she and Bug checked him out when he arrived with Nicholas yesterday. That was fun to watch. We also had alot of door and window and counter pounding - will that ever stop. Probably not Funniest thing I have ever seen. She has left my plants alone - YAY! Last night when I was in the shower she climbed the towel rack, next to the shower door, to she could get her paws on the top of the shower door, and see me inside. That was not an easy task! So there she sat for a minute, balanced on top of the shower door.   You gotta love it. Right now the thundering herd is running a kitty marathon throughout the house.... Normalcy in Musketeerville, for sure. cat_pet_icon

Have a great day everyone! I have both boys again today. I'm not too sure yet what we will do. The weather report is not good, so I am uncertain if we will be able to do a river visit or not. We will see how things evolve her this morning. it may be an indoor adventure, we will see what happens with the weather....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Yay for surviving Day 1 - woohoo! It's great that your DMIL will help out with William so you and the FISH can hit the pool during the day!

Wow on Lola scaling the shower door. She is so creative and adventurous. Since Frankie, who is 10, was busy pounding the bedroom door last night, don't count on that one ending any time soon   !

Have a great day, Michelle!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes on day one, and onto day 2. paws crossed for me. ;-) Another big YES on my DMIL. That will really help alot. YAY a thousand times over. oh great on the door pounding, and Frankie, and I am sure Lola, 12/15/20 years down the road.   yupp on that shower door - I just could not believe that one.  so so Lola!

Hey Lil Bit Pit,

Are you sure Wacky Wednesday is really over?! :o Cause I woke up in a bed of whip and fluff! And I keep hearing snickering and kittehs saying Wacky Wacky, Wacky Wacky! Those....those....well you know what they are, did it to me again! They snuck in late last night and covered my lovely bed and my bean too in whip and fluff! What a mess!

My bean had to wash the bed and still can't get all the sticky off! I think I need to get out of here for a while and chillax. I was thinking of Mannie's treehouse, but I don't want to be too close to those....those.... well you know what they are...... How about instead we go to the beach, walk the boardwalk and eat yummy boardwalk fuds!

Let's see who else wants to come and make a fun day of it. Maybe I'll get all that sticky off me finally!

Those....those.... well you know....

Signed Maui the Magnificent, victim of Wacky Wednesday yet again

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics! I was fun, and a challenge with both boys yesterday. It is so great that nicholas really does love his little bro, that makes this all easier. YUPP on Lola... I keep wondering: what could be next?  THX so much on today.

MAUI! GF! well..... dunno on wacky wednesday! I had better be over... YOU WHAT???? I swear I knows nuthin'.... I best check with paw Prints Pizza.... well OK. I'll get the crew and we can eat out way through all that whip. :-D OOOOOOOOOOOOO! great idea on Mannie's treehouse. let's do it! I will make sure on Lola and Bug. they say they is sorry. We can do the beach too, but not too soon, My bean says they tiny hoomins will be there.... oh oh....we gots to avoid that.... see ya in a few! ~~Elsa, Lil BIT PIT

Hi guys .. so glad your first day with both boys went well .. how nice of your DMIL to watch william so nicholas can still get in swim time! Too funny on lola looking in on you in the shower .. our boy Cheddar used to come in the shower with me, and sit on the bench under the water .. what a nut he was ..

That's great your first day with the boys went so well. How nice of your DMIL to help with William when she can.

That's so funny that Lola scaled the shower door. What will she think of next?

Hi guys,
Good news that your dmil will be able to help you with the boys. Nicholas would really miss his swimming.

Kitties are amazing. Lola is a bundle of inventiveness!

We are at camp and i'm trying to type on this virtual keyboard. It may get better by the end of the weekend. Anyway. Thanks for visiting us.

Will report tomorrowg on the 90 miler.

Ni ni,

Ella & Rusty

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. It has been crazy here... right down to the weather.  on the weather here. So much for that window of clearing and partial clouds this morning that the weather dudes predicted.... the fog rolled in about 6, by 6:30 the rains had started, by 7 is was a monsoon, and 7:30 we had thunder and lightning over and over again. wow, impressive. Nicholas thought it was kinda cool - likes thunder apparently. love it! We ended up at the science center today, if only becasue we have not been there in a while and the aquarium was last week, and it was just pouring outside.... so packed up the boys and off we went. It is one of those places where you can spend an hour or two and no matter on the duration. That gave me a chance to see how it went, front packed, with the new little guy. He really liked being up front where he could see. He did really well. YAY! Nicholas liked the place: good time with the butterflies, dinosaurs and well, duh on the fav: all the water works out in the courtyard. No surprise there. lol. All in all, a successful venture out and about with the boys, just me, no backup. I will hope for a weather break tomorrow so we can get to a river. we shall see on that one. But I tell ya: what work! crazy busy, and an incredible test of will and patience, and teaching. Nicholas is such a sponge... listens and learns ad tries to do what taught. Work, but what fun! I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.
In the meantime, her's a teaser: LOLA:

Hi Devon - THX on the boys. Iw as too, relieved in fact. it is alot to handle, but it went well. Nicholas is a big help too, which is really nice. I so agree on my DMIL. I am so happy about that! LOL on your Cheddar. If we had a bench. I bet Lola would do that too. She's been in the shower before, but always eaves when the water starts. If she was on a bench.. different story!

Hi Carla - I was so glad it went well with both of them yesterday. William is an easy baby to care for, not much fussin' at all. YAY! I am so grateful to my DMIL. That will be such a big help! I so wonder on Lola.... wht will she think of next..... scary thought....

Hi Ella - oh yes on my DMIL, very good news indeed. and she asked if she could - even better! What a relief all around. Nicholas will be bale to have his regular swim time, which is great!!! I like that description of Lola: bundle of inventiveness. That fits her well. OOO! good luck with that virtual keyboard. sounds like a fun challenge. :-D Good luck to all those you know who are part of the 90 miler. I just cant imagine that distance....

Hi Michelle, man you are impressive!! You are like the EverReady Bunny  And now you got the two boys. You Rock!! \M/
Very nice of DMIL to help out. And Lola    She just cracks me up.
Have a very nice night.

Hi Pam - thx for the visit! THX too for your comments. I wish I had 1/10 of those boys energy. I so agree on my DMIL. So grateful here for her, and her taking the time to help out. Night has been great! :-D
