I am so saddened to read of the passing of Checkers. Fly free little one. We will so miss you, never ever forget you. Land softly at the Bridge, where so many of our GA's await your arrival, candles glowing in the softened light so that you may easily find your way....
Good Morning LL!!
(LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!WACKY WEDNESDAY is over!!! What a relief. I hope Lola and Bug didn't go too wacky. There have been no complaints so maybe all is well with Paw Prints Pizza. Today they is chillin' after yesterday's spillage of the whip cream in the kitchen. It was EVERYWHERE! I thins they did it on purpose: sure was fun though, slippin' and slidin' in all that whip. SWEET! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!
I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. My DD has gone back to work, half days for a few weeks. So yesterday is day one of my having both boys: William and Nicholas. We did OK! We have a few adjustments to make, but all are quite doable, and manly just involve allowing more time to care for basic baby needs: like feeding! ;-) We did make swimming, in an outdoor pool, which though cool, was fun. Here's what I posted in last night's post about yesterday: "WOOT on day one with both boys. We survived today. It went OK, the morning moved along well, with both boys. Nicholas really wanted to help with everything related to William, from the toys to the diapers to the feedings. He so loves his little bro: he a good job, sure did try. We ended up swimming, at my DMIL outdoor pool. Pool temp was at 82, good enough and warm. What did the little guy in was the outside temps of 58, the fog and drizzle rolled into that. We did about 30 minutes until he was just too cold, had the shivers. As hard as he plays it just wasn't enough to generate enough warmth. He did have a blast in those 30 minute though: the energizer FISH was hard at work, diving, jumping, underwater seeks, swimming as best he could, playing with noodles and a float mat. Anything and everything he could get his hands on. he tells me he was done and too cold now. LOL. No complaints there - he had fun while there so YAY! AND (!!) on an extremely good note: DMIL tells me she would love to watch William on the days she is off so I can take Nicholas to the pool. a big yahoo on that. I won't then have to worry about how to handle a 3 month old in the water, or take Nicolas swimming at nght once William is home. So should her work schedule allow she will take a morning or two a week. awesome. I so hope this means I will not have to take Nicholas swimming in the evening. I think so! more awesome.
" Swimming!, and Nicholas and William.... and Lola. The last album are photos taken throughout the morning, just random shots. It was a good start for the boys.

The kitties have been good kitties! Even Lola! It has been on the coolish side here - enough so that Elsa prefers the cozy comfy bed for napping, with an occasional venture outdoors. Bug has been busy chasing Lola. SHeshhhh.... He so edges her on. LOL: doesn't take much to get Lola going.  Lola continues to be Lola. She seems to really like William too: she and Bug checked him out when he arrived with Nicholas yesterday. That was fun to watch. We also had alot of door and window and counter pounding - will that ever stop. Probably not Funniest thing I have ever seen. She has left my plants alone - YAY! Last night when I was in the shower she climbed the towel rack, next to the shower door, to she could get her paws on the top of the shower door, and see me inside. That was not an easy task! So there she sat for a minute, balanced on top of the shower door.   You gotta love it. Right now the thundering herd is running a kitty marathon throughout the house.... Normalcy in Musketeerville, for sure. cat_pet_icon
Have a great day everyone! I have both boys again today. I'm not too sure yet what we will do. The weather report is not good, so I am uncertain if we will be able to do a river visit or not. We will see how things evolve her this morning. it may be an indoor adventure, we will see what happens with the weather....
