Leo's feeling kinda pink this morning.

I think I'm going to increase tonight even though we'll be decreasing for his dental next week (I think...? not sure yet, I need to hear what the Specialist says first). It might bring down his numbers at least for the next 3 days? He hasn't seen a green in a while and it was hardly even green, more blueish.

Any thoughts?

Have a fantastic day all, stay on your boards and keep your distance from the sharkies, kitties!

Your pretty boy is coming down ok. On the sixth day he started looking good on the 4U. Then comes the vet visit. Even though he didn't act stressed after coming home, a small residual rise wouldn't be abnormal. I'd put the increase threat on the table, and see what Leo does with it!!!

Oh Leo, come on down to the beach today, the sun is shining and all your friends want to play with you.

I hope Leo decides to show you some low blues today or possibly some greens:cool::cool::D:D:D:D

Hi Sonia. In an odd way I’m glad Leo has a bad tooth and am hoping the dental will help him go back into remission. Max had teeth pulled and I never left him with the vet for more than a half day. My vet wanted him in and out as quickly as possible but did watch him for a few hours after. He was a very sensitive cat as you may recall so it took a few days for him to get back to normal and longer than most to get back to good numbers. I fed him baby food at first. My vet had me skip insulin the morning of the dental and since he wasn’t eating much I skipped that night as well. He left that up to me. It’s nervous time until you get hm home again after a dental. Hugs and prayers for great labs and another remission in the works. (Anti-jinx)

Thank you!

I hope Leo keeps heading down for you today. It does look like he could have gone lower last night and is bouncing.

Thanks for the reminder and words of wisdom, Jan! He's the zen-ist, chillest kitty we've ever had but you know what they say about still waters...
He did turn blue before so maybe threats will work, they have in the past.

Hi Elise! Long time no see, how are you?

I know exactly what you mean. When Leo dropped out of remission back in March, I took him to the vet and she had a look in his mouth but there was nothing apparent. Maybe it was brewing but didn’t show yet? I hate to think that this has been going on for so long without me realizing it but…it would explain a lot (anti-jinx).

Thank you for your kind and hopeful words and for keeping an eye on us, you’ve been there for us since the beginning and we appreciated it so much.

Big hugs to you, I hope you are doing really well. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Sonia. I’m not on as much as I used to be but check in when I can. My two are almost three now but no rest for the weary. One already has had an ER visit and has me concerned with her recheck labs and other signs but not my vet. I hope he’s right. Thanks for the kind words. I’ll check back to see the labs and vet reports but honestly unless you feel more comfortable I wouldn’t have him spend any nights with your vet. :bighug:

Thanks Carla. :) He's in blue mid-day, so you're right, it could have been a bounce and like Jan said maybe left over stress from the car rides and vet visit yesterday.

I hope your vet is right also, but follow your gut feeling, check everything out and hope your wrong! :bighug:

I'm not crazy about the sleepovers either but I'll see what the doc says when he calls me (hopefully tomorrow) because I have many questions. My sister recommended this clinic and assured me there are vet techs there all night when they have patients staying over.

Good luck with your little ones! Talk soon, :)
