Harley was going to have a strip free day but started at 119. 80/+2.5. I am going to try the liver training as Sandy suggested.

Happy Labor Day AND Happy LIVER training day - does that mean Harley gets liver treats too all day. I know my kitties like them! :)

So much for training...Harley is bouncing again to 313 and maybe beyond. It was a good day anyway. Hate to think about work tomorrow.

That was a beautiful cycle today! No drastic dives. :-D

Liver training takes time and ECID. It will be interesting to see to what degree he bounces. Lowest number was 79.

Pattie, how much/what carb % did you have to feed this curve today? Did you have to really stay on top of it?

Sorry, forgot to put it on ss. Updated now. He only got HC twice (1 Tb each time), then only LC once. I think the HC is 15%. I would have to check Binky's chart. The highest LC today as 4%. I write down the LC % (it is written on each can) but do forget to get it on the ss.

maybe at least this will be a little bit easier of a bounce (anti-jinx). It would be nice if he can stay out of the 400s.

Good job controlling the curve today, and I love that Harley got green on 2.5u!

He only gets 2 "meals" a day of 1 to 1.2oz of LC. Everything else is between meals. I am trying to stick with only 2-3 snack (.3-.5oz LC) a day. The HC is always between meals when I am trying to get his bs up.

I don't think that answered your questions. It was in addition to the regular meals and meal times.

Wow, his liver is more panicky than I thought. . .
maybe the drop from last nights PM+10/201 >> AMPS /119 was too fast?
I would continue to try and keep him above 70 for now.
Let's see how quickly he clears. This is all very valuable data.

Pattie, did you feel like if you hadn't intervened he would have dropped like a rock today?
