Good morning all!

Bob's hanging in there. He seems to now only want to eat the wellness turkey. He eats maybe a few kibbles in the morning and then waits for the canned to come out. He's so weird!!! He loved that dry food. I'm very confused. I'll just continue to put both out. If he doesn't eat the dry food food, then YAY! :RAHCAT I'm dreading the day he doesn't want the wellness either.

Hector is pooping on the floor right outside the litter box. His poop is so big it looks like human poop. :? I think it's the dry food. He's such a piggy - he eats everything. I'm not quite sure how Bob and Penelope are surviving. I'll give him one more chance. He's not going to be happy when I isolate him with his litter box.

We have a bounce this morning. I'm pretty certain Bob hit the blues last night. If I can manage some way to keep him from eating the dry food, we might be in business. I may have to put Hector and Penelope in a separate room during the day. I shall think on this...

Many, many thoughts and prayers for Barb today!

Hi guys .. maybe bob has realized wet food is the way to go :-D I'm sorry hector is pooping outside the LB .. mocha does that anytime she feels ANY sort of emotion, good or bad! Hopefully bob's bounce breaks soon .. have a great day guys!

Ooooo. How exciting that Bob is eating more and more wet food. No jinxing on the wellness. Just keep believing he's gonna keep eating it up.

Have a great afternoon.

Hi Dara! That's really good news about Bob starting to like the wet more! I guess it just had to be his decision . . . cats. I hope the bounce passes soon. Take care!

Yay that Bob is eating more wet than dry food. I hope it continues. I'm sorry Hector is pooping beside the lb.

Really large poops from a cat, the size of human poop, can be a sign of megacolon. Not saying this is the issue with Hector. But maybe something to think about.

Thanks everyone for stopping by with the encouragement! I got really busy yesterday And didn't get a chance to get back on!

Ugh! :? I hope there are no more issues in the White household! I'll have to prostitute myself to afford these medical bills. Anyway, Hector is eating so much, I assumed that was the issue. He's never had bowel issues or been constipated so I hope he's just eating alot!!

If Hector doesn't have problems with constipation, the likelihood that this is megacolon are rather remote given that constipation is easily observable symptom.
Presenting signs and historical problems – Straining to defecate, painful defecation, blood in the stool, passage of small amounts of dry, hard feces or absence of feces are common signs of megacolon. Most often, cats have a history of repeated episodes of constipation. Other systemic signs of illness may be present as a result of prolonged inability to defecate, such as anorexia, lethargy, weight loss, abdominal pain and vomiting.
From what you've described, the set of symptoms described above isn't Hector!
