Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday> well duh! They do EVERY Caturday.  AND! Still with lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday, and a great week. It has been a week off for me, from having the boys. Mom and Dad, aka Erin and Jason, were on vacation last week, and off on a three ay camping trip. They went to the West Coast area, Mora Campground, near La Push, specifically First Beach, Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach. ALot of beaches there!     They had a great time. It was William's first camping adventure, and from what I gear he did very well. They all shared the same tent. Boys slept great, mom and dad not so much,  Seems that the boys were constantly rolling on top of them, kicking them, and sleeping on their heads. I guess that kept mom and dad up, but the boys slept through it. I can so see the scene!   They ate all their meals via camp fire, and both boys now know the wonders of S'Mores made via the campfire. Nicholas kept telling mm over and over how good they were. YUPP!, that they are. The days were spent on the beaches. Is there any doubt that they didn't love the time there? 9AM, and Nichols was putting on his swim suit so he could head on out into the water. Too fun! They plan on many more camping trips, to which Nicholas replies: "Grammie!! Did you hear??? We get to go back!" How cool is that? :-D

Monday was a hiking day for me. I was out early at 5AM, and not back til late at 7PM.... I-) @-)   and that left no time for the Board and condos. I missed you guys! I rarely travel on holiday weekends, as the traffic here can be so challenging. but... of the days available Monday was the most favorable as far as the weather goes, so I took a chance and headed on out. :-D :-D :-D It was been a longggggggggggggggggggg one here. It was 7 hours on the road yesterday, sheshhhh... 3 hours over, 4 on the way home. I really do love that drive on SR 20, aka the North Cascades Highway, especially when one gets into the Rainy Pass, Washington Pass and the hairpin turns area. it is incredibly gorgeous there. unreal gorgeous. The traffic itself actually went rather smoothly, considering it was a holiday. coming home went really well too. it took longer, mainly becasue there is always someone that messes up those two lane roads for everyone else. Some butt-head that was traveling way below the speed limit, and would not use the pullouts. He had us all in this ridiculous caravan. LOL: we all took turns passing him. HAHA! Despite that we still moved, it just took a long time. The rest was great, I5 moved. fancy that. I hiked the Cutthroat Pass Hike. The hike itself was great. wow, to die for scenery topside. This trail is another one that connects with the PCT topside. So that was my goal: to make the PCT connection, and explore some. Mission accomplished! I would have liked to have spent more time on the PCT, but by the time I relaxed some up there it was almost time to head back down. I did meet a few PCT through hikers. They were ecstatic: a few more miles to go and they would be at trails end in Canada. Cool. Anyways - wonderful views, nice hike. But it is long!!! Logged 12.5 miles today, climbed 1980 feet. At least the climb was gradual, so one didn't feel it too badly. As this week I do not have the boys (vacation week for their family) I hope to get in two more hikes before "Fall" officially gets here. The boys schedule will change alot come next week: more school days for Nicholas, and different swim days. So.... best get in what I can hike wise before the apple cart falls over.

Tuesday and Wednesday were catch up day at home. I have so many projects that need to be addressed, so we tackled some of those. The entire house carpeting was seam cleaned. The driveway and porches etc were power washed, Bleach! but I can now cross them off my "to do" list. YAY!!! The weather was cool, overcast and not so sunny, so it was nice in a way to save a couple of days where I didn't feel like I would be wasting a sunny day.  I also made it out for a few local hikes, on trails near home. Meadowdale and Picnic Point saw my presence. The hikes were nice ones, mellow, and a great way to unwind from the "working chores". ;-) I am grateful to have such nice places near home.

Thursday was another hiking day for me. Another hike where I was out early at 5AM, and not back til late at 7PM.... This day found me back on the North Cascades Highway, to tackle a hike called Maple Pass. it is one of my favorite hiking destinations. I missed last year, as the day I was set to go, the area had a massive mud slide that clsoed the access road for a few weeks... BUMMER! So I was elated to be able to go this year. It can be a challenging hike in that one does climb 2000 feet, over a course of 7 miles. ALot of up up and more up!  Maple Pass offers outstanding views of the North Cascades, 360 degrees! AWESOME!! The hike up was a good one. wildflowers still in bloom, clear skies, and vistas at every turn. The upper portion of this hike is also another section of the Pacific Crest Trail. That in itself is awesome. It was been a longggggggggggggggggggg one here. It was 7 hours on the road yesterday, sheshhhh... 3 hours over, 4 on the way home. I really do love that drive on SR 20, aka the North Cascades Highway, especially when one gets into the Rainy Pass. It is incredibly gorgeous there. Had some interesting weather on the trip up there!

Friday was a family get together day. Me, Nicholas, William, Erin, and Jason spent the morning and early afternoon, at the beach, per Nicholas's request. We went to Juanita Beach. The weather was great, the afternoon was turning into a warm afternoon, like 82 (!!), so off we went! We did all of what he goes there for. Lots of play, and it was warm enough that he could swim in the water. He had such fun with that. I had also brought a pair of swim trunks for William, so he was able to really get in the water, and play as much as he wanted. He continues to love the very small waves, and had a blast. We dig William large hole in the sand, maybe 2 feet across and about a foot deep, which we had filled with water. OMG: that was a magnet for William. His own private little muddy sandy swimming hole. SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!   WHAT FUN! WHAT A MESS he was after that.   They both were! William has really developed a fondness for it all, he just gets so excited when he sees the parks, the beaches, the rivers, He is so very much like his brother when he was that age. He just loved it.It was even more fun that mom and dad were there to partake in it all too. We also had a small picnic after our beach and park time. The ducks loved us! one stole half of Williams PBJ sandwich, another decided Nicholas's was just as good. "MOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ducks stole my lunch!"      All around - really a terrific day. I bet both those boys slept well that night. AWESOME time at the beach.

Nicholas asked Friday if he could go swim that night. Who was I to say no. ;-) NOT ME!!! :-D :-D :-D Nicholas still loves going, and continues to do well in the pool. We are dealing with pool closures, for fall maintenance, as they gear up for fall scheduling. The good news there is that Lynnwood's BIG POOL IS NOW OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Friday night though found us at Snohomish Aquatic Center. He really does love that pool. They have great play stuff, ample space for swimming, and an area that does well for deep water. So we made good sue of it all. They also have a very nice lazy river, so of course we had to work our way through that too. Great time!

Nicholas still looks forward to our after swim Friday Night Burger Feast too. That is just so fun: burgers and fries, just him and me, with lots of fun stories. He was so happy to see that burger and fries combo show up after he swam. Somehow I think that is part of the magic of Friday night swims: that he gets burgers etc after his swim. Yesterday we again talked pool closures, as well as all our berry hunts, swimming in the rivers, and alot on his camping trip adventure. He was really into that discussion, and can't wait until the family can go again. He also talked alot about summer swim schedules, and the changes coming this fall. He was so excited. LOL: he got to sleep in a tent. What fun time, talking through mouthfuls full of burgers and fries.

I am sitting here this morning, just like last week, trying to think what to write about the kitties.... and just like last week, thinking alot too about Mannie, and all the adventures he planned to for all the LL kitties. I so miss those days, and the fun, and relief from all the FD and the stress that comes with it. AT the risk of being repetitive, this is what I wrote last week - and will repost, as it really was much the same this week, even the part about Nicholas and Mannie. Yesterday was an interesting day in that Nicholas wanted to talk about Mannie, right after the duck stealing lunch thing, what the two have in common, well I have no idea! It is amazing and wodnerful on how much he remembers about Mannie. They were during his first two years inseparable, and the best of friends. He talked about all the things they did, from the nanners, to the food shares, to the play, to the home testing (he was my assistant, knew that the BG's meant, how to work the meter, etc), to the sleeps together, and Mannie's Garden. He knows that Nannie now lives in his garden, and that his kitty at home, Serval, has gone to play with Mannie there (Serval passed a few months ago). What an awesome discussion, and remembrance on Nicholas's part. he says near the end of this talk: " I miss him Grammie, but he is happy. Don;t worry, 'K?" How cool is that? The rest I wrote last week, but all of it continues to be true. More so on the things about Bug and Nicholas. "The kitties are doing well here, all three of them. The last three days that Nicholas has napped here, I have found Bug sleeping, or watching, just outside of Nichoals's door, on the threshold. To me, that was huge. Could it be that Bug may take over where Mannie left off? I always swore that Mannie and Nicholas were bonded, inseparable, perhaps his feline GA is making sure all will be well. I always felt that Mannie sent Bug to us. They are just so much alike. Lola continues to be Lola, wild crazy fun Lola. Still the ultimate escape artist. She loves the outdoors, it has been hard to keep her inside. Our escape artist continues to try and get out. After having a few hours out there she has decided that it was PRIMO (!!!!!) and tries every chance she gets to sneak on through that opening, when anyone goes in or out. She even paws at the door, with what I swear is an "open PLEASE" chant.  She is relentless. ah Lola....never ever a dull moment with you. :-D  Our resident escape artist has perfected her skills. FOUR times last Wednesday! Outside at all costs, in her opinion.        :-x         DH comes home, and I hear him outside talking to some one. I should have known,... he walks in with Lola in the crock of his arm, and says" "were you missing someone?" I had no clue she had done it again. :? :? :? She's getting good! On the plus side, he says she was just laying on the porch, which is under my "office" window, sunning herself. No wonder I kept hearing this kitty outside with this sweet meeeee-ooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww. I never occurred to me it was Lola.    OMG! Well, catio prep has been bumped up on the list! Elsa is still dong well, darn active for an almost 18 year old. She sleeps alot, but what the heck: part of being a cat. She continues to be a very good lap cat of late: nice! With the warm weather she has been out in the yard alot. Lola is SO JEALOUS!!, and lets me know it whenever she sees Big Sis out in the yard. It is interesting that Bug just doesn't seem to mind that all. He is more than content to be a house cat. I can remember when Mannie was still with us, and I'd go hiking and how stressful it could be at times to be sure I was home in time for test-feed-shoot. Some of these distance hikes were a challenge and I'd always be rushing to make it home in time. Inevitably came those times when i was late. I'd walk into the door and Mannie, BJ and Elsa (this was before Lola and Bug), would all be waiting at the top of the stairs, right by the door entrance to the house. All there would be pacing. Mannie had this "YOU'RE LATE" dance he'd do. Bj would be hollering "WHERE"'S MY DINNER!!" and Elsa would be sitting there with "that look"   All three of them would produce this blood oath that I had signed way back on the occasion on my first home late, where I swore I'd never ever be late again, or pay the consequences. sheshhhh, they were tough! Thursday night, and Monday too, were just like that, what with me being 3 hours late for dinner! DH had fed them, but they still knew I was late. There they sat, blood oath in their paws.....    Sorry kitties. somehow it all fits whit Normalcy in MusketeerVille! Kitties are good, and All are sound asleep as I write this.... Stay good kitties!" Normalcy in MusketeerVille! cat_pet_icon

Have a great day everyone! Enjoy your Caturday. We have a birthday celebration for DH tonight. It should be a good time: family, lasagna, and Nicholas and William. PRIMO! :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

What fantastic pics from your hikes! Just glorious. And what wonderful weather you had.

Happy birthday to your DH!

I'm sure that Mannie is communicating with Bug. This is a wonderful continuity. Nicholas must be so tuned in, too.

Thanks for visiting us. I'll greet Linda for you. We are looking forward to seeing her.

Re: 9/5-6 LOOSE LIPS: a week off.... Happy Sunday LL!!

Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Coffee is on, Lola and Bug , founders of Paw Prints Pizza, are ready to go! Want pizza? it is MEGA GOOD! They are busy getting ready for.... uh.... I dunno! but there sure is a flurry of activity in the kitchen. I heard that the full moon is coming... maybe they are perfecting moon pies! COOL! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... and orange drizzle! SWEET OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. We have been keeping busy. Yesterday was a day of chores, and laundry, and shopping, and short walks out. It was also DH's birthday, so we had everyone over for dinner: lasagna, ceasar salad, and garlic bread. YUM! And of course that inevitable birthday cake. Nicholas was my helper with that: he brought the cake out, placed the candles, fired up the cake  and led the birthday song. :-D That was fun. it is alwyas great to get everyone together under one roof. Awesome family time! The weather was also great, an added bonus. Lola was out party host, making sure everyone was entertained.   Bug ventured out too, Elsa went into hiding. ;-)

Enjoy your Sunday LL! I am off to spend some time over a cup of ~O) with my youngest son Matt, and then perhaps sometime out on a local hike, the usual at Meadowdale. WOOT! It will be a sunny 85 degree day here. That should make for a great time on the local trails. :-D

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics! the area is such a pretty one, a bit tugged, with awesome scenery. The North Cascades has to be my favorite place to hike, and so accessible! The weather was incredible. I got really lucky on that regard. I think so too on Mannie, I feel his presence in so many ways, the influences are endless. Bug and Mannie are so very much alike, it really is uncanny. It would not surprise me that Nicholas is tuned in too - they were such good buddies. THCX too on d=saying hi to Linda for me. I know you guys will have such a great visit! :-D

Re: 9/5-6 LOOSE LIPS: a week off.... Happy Sunday LL!!

Always so happy to read your condo about Nicholas and his memories of Mannie. We would always read your condo in those stressful FD days and be in awe of what a wonderful bean you were for Mannie and for such a long time. We could hardly imagine doing what you were doing for five years! And now, we are hitting the 3 1/2 year mark and our guy is keeping on. We have sure seen changes and now he gets more frail, but he is also 15. As Zener says, "whatever happens, it will be okay." Nicholas has grown to be a little boy now, and how wonderful he remembers his best buddy and his very important job helping with Mannie. :-D

Re: 9/5-6 LOOSE LIPS: a week off.... Happy Sunday LL!!

Hi Michelle. I missed your condo yesterday when I was popping on and off in between storms. I'm glad you were able to take advantage of your free time and get some hiking in. Happy late Birthday to your DH. I'm glad all the kitties are doing well. That's great the family had such fun camping, except for mom and dad not getting much sleep.

Re: 9/5-6 LOOSE LIPS: a week off.... Happy Sunday LL!!

Hi Anne ~O) :-D THX SO MUCH! I lveo the fact that Nicholas to this day still remembers him. That would please Mannie to no end. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Thanks for your comments. It was hard with Mannie. One alwyas dreams OTJ, but it was apparent early on that that card wasn't coming his way, he just went to long without a DX to make that possible, and in all honesty we were all ok with that, he was so happy, and doing Mannie tings that the numbers became secondary. yupp, 5 years! What a bond that will develop. I am sure it is the same with you and Zener. Awesome isn't it? YUPP!
As Zener says, "whatever happens, it will be okay."
alwyas remember that. it was that way for us. I knew, even when he was so sick at the end, that it really would be OK. He was happy, did things his way until he was gone. We had five glorious years together, I will remember each of the 5 FD years with such fondness, and to think that two of them were with Nicholas LOVE THAT! Sometimes I think that Nicholas was a large part of his well being those last two months,. Nicholas alwyas made sure each day that Mannie was doing ok. he got hugs and scritches and many " I LOVE YOU MANNIE!" darn cool!

HI Carla ~O) :-D THX, me too on the hiking,. They were great, and I was grateful to have the time to do the far away ones. THX on the birthday wishes, I will pass those on. I know on the sleep thing on the camp rip, They can laugh about it, as overall it was so worth the time spent there.

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Phew...as always, I'm ready for a nap after reading about all that you pack into your days, Michelle  !!! How sweet of Nicholas to still remember and talk about his best buddy....they truly are bonded for life. And how sweet that Bug is slowly getting closer to Nicholas, too. I can just feel Bug's special spirit vibe. Lola...stay inside where it is safe!!!!!

Have a great day, Michelle!!

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? I hear too of rumors of a ending fll moon arty. YAHOO! We are so ready! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

Happy Monday LL! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was a balanced busy and laid back weekend. We had a family dinner on Saturday night to celebrate DH's birthday. Good food rules!: lasagna, ceasar salad and garlic bread, followed by a double fudge cake. It is always so fun to get everyone together. Nicholas played party host, made sure all went well. He had decided he would take care of the cake, so we let him. How fun to watch a 3 yr old carry that to the table, so so so careful not to drop it ;-)  , put the candles on the cake, and with grammie's help, light the candles. He did a good job. He had not had lasagna before, and decided it was time to try it. Fumy thing, it tasted really good. His comment: "I wish I had tried it before. I love this. Ricotta cheese is GOOD!".   He went back for thirds. William had a great time too. He too decided lasagna was good, ate most of mom's helping. I had made a couple of treks outdoors too: to Picnic Point Beach for an early morning walk, and back to Meadowdale on Sunday afternoon The weather was so nice that day that I knew it would be a great walk. And it was. Sunday morning I went to visit my youngest son, who has just moved into a new apt, with his DGF. He's about to go back to college, and work on accounting and business administration. He still plans on working full time, as he manages a local pizza store, and also continue work with the band. can we say busy????? It was nice to see that his employers were willing to let him do the school thing, and he has managed to come up with a schedule that will allow it, school wise and work wise, still managing the store. He's happy about the pending new things in his life, and really is looking forward to it all.

Normalcy in MusketeeerVille! cat_pet_icon All continues to be well with the kitties. Elsa is enjoying our continued good weather, and spends much of her day outside in the yard or on the deck. Bug continues to be lovable mellowed out Bug. Lola is still Lola. Wild crazy fun and sometimes cuddly Lola. ;-) Her escape attempts continue. I had , once again, repaired the tears in the screen door. I left the main door open, screen closed so I could see what she would do with the repairs. She sits there for about 3 minutes, looking at my repair job. She then grabs the edge of the tape, after pawing it a few times to loosen the edge, and starts to pull.   She had figured out how to remove what I had placed over the hole(s).   Smart kitty! sheshhhhh! Guess I can safely say: Normalcy in Three MusketerVille!

Enjoy your day today! I have someone coming today to give me an estimate on replacing the slider, and getting a screen door that is "Lola proof". I wonder if there is such a thing.  The door has to be done, so I hope too to get a good screen as well. after that, maybe a local hike. Weather should be decent enough today to be able to do that. :-D

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Hi Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) naps are good! I think so too on Nicholas. He will never forget him, and with some of my help, we keep the stories alive. He is the one to bring the subject up, and then we talk about all the things they did together. Bug too is a very special kitty. After five years of being on his own (shelter estimate) he's really settled into home life, has no interest in the great outdoors and is warming up nicely to people, cuddles, an Nicholas. It is kinda cool. and Lola?      She keeps us all on our toes! Still with the escape attempts. Silly cat!

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Whew. I'm exhausted after reading all of that. How cool with Erin and Jason taking the kids camping. What fun! Nicholas does love the outdoors.

Happy birthday to DH! I was looking at pictures on FB and never realized how much Anthony looks like him. Spittin image. Looks like a great great time was had by all. Nicholas will now be a lasagna fiend. I love that stuff too Nick.

Congrats to Matt on all the cool changes in his life. What a busy time for him, but very exciting all the same.

And the kitties. Love the kitties. That Lola is a smart one. I was thinking about Mannie this weekend. Tarragon was outside laying in the sun and he quick put his nose up in the air as a breeze came through. Times like that we can feel Mannie in the sunbeams.

Have a great day and week Michelle!

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) The camping trip was such fun for the boys. They just loved it, and many more now are planned. They just did two days, and are now looking at longer ones. Funny thing: each morning now, when Nicholas gets up, he asks if they can go camping today. He's hooked! THX on the pics, and on the look alike. That is true I think, on Anthony. And oh yes on Nicholas and that lasagna. that was so funny. he was so sure he wouldn't like it until he ate a bite. Then it was no stop shovel into the mouth.  I love the stuff too. Good food! THX on Matt. Exciting times await for him,. all good ones too I think. oh yes on Mannie. OMG, your description of Tarragon and the turning up of the face to catch that breeze... I can so see Mannie doing that. He'd sit in that pose with the upturned nose for the longest time, basking in the sun, sniffing the breeze. so so Mannie. :-D  What an awesome memory!

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Hi Michelle, ~O) ~O) I have a lot of catching up to do on the pics and hikes. I've been telling you about my computer woes, and it's still chugging along, but slowly. :? Great pics of your Fridagy fwt together with the boys and Erin and all. I always enjoy the Friday nite burger fest. I'll catch up on all the events of this past week on the links above. I'm already tired.
Elsa, thanks you for always bringing me coffee and for taking Katie back for a play date with lola. Now Katie never wants to stay home.

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Lola is one smart kitty figuring out how to undo your repairs. That's great Nicholas loves lasagna now. It is good food. That's great your son is able to work out going to school and work full time. He's going to be super busy, but it will be great once he's finished.

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Hi Ann ~O) :-D THX (!!) for the visit! oh no.... still computer woes? but I am glad you are still chugging along. THX on the pics, the get together was nice, always fun to have us all under one roof. The beach that day on Friday was really fun! I have to agree on the burger Fest. LOVE that! It is one of my fav things that we do.
Auntie Ann!! You are so welcomes! Lola and Katie are so funny! I told Lola that the beaches where Katie lives are the best ones ever, so now she wants to spend the day there. That cool? She was also talking about bringing suitcases to bring some CA sand back for the treehouse. HUH? Is she crazy???? oh yes, I forgot, she is.... See you tomorrow! ~~ Elsa, kitten barista pilot

Hi Carla ~O) :-D oh ye son Lola. I so had to alugh as I watched her do it. I thought she'd just tear a new hole, but NOPE! She removed the tape! one SMART kitty!  so agreed on the lasagna. I love that stuff. it is really good! He had thirds too!  THX on my son - I think so too. he'd very happy with his decisions. I wish him well, and happy studies!

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Happy B-day to your DH Michelle! :-D Wow- Cutthroat Pass and Maple Pass Loop in one week??? You are SuperHuman!! Seriously, some of my favorite hiking spots on the North Cascade Hwy- your pics are great as usual!! That is so neat that Nicholas remembers Mannie and that Bug is a reminder of Mannie! Have a great rest of the week!

Re: 9/5-7 LOOSE LIPS: a week off, Happy Cheery Cherry Monday

Hi Ruth ~O) :-D YUPP!! Did them both, Cutthroat and Maple, in one week, three days apart, Surprisingly i did ok with the Maple Pass one, since it was so close to Cutthroat, But i do concur, The areas there on the NCascades are GORGEOUS,and are my fav places to go. Next on the list is Cascade pass and Sahale Arm: my all-time favorite! I hope I can make that one, Sahale Arm is difficult.  THX so much on Nicholas and Mannie. They truly did have the best of bonds.
