Wanted to remind everyone to check your credit card statement carefully. I was notified today someone had hacked my card & was using it ! I ordered a CD online & just like that, someone got my info!

In addition to your advice you should always check the debit machines in a store to see if there is a piece added on to the card reader. Many scammers insert these while the teller is unaware and I've had my credit card hijacked that way... one brazen person charged 17G worth of goods to my card! the credit card company always waives those charges though. They don't ever seem to pursue these culprits so its an easy crime to get away with

So glad to know everyone is doing well today!
Just in the last 6 months, my DH has had a debit card hacked, then reissued, and I've had both a debit and credit card closed and reissued. Our bank caught the action before any major money was stolen. Two times, someone tried to use our cc numbers at a Racetrac gas station nowhere near where we live.

I never use a debit machine. I have one credit card & use it for everything. I thought I was so careful! But I guess it doesn't matter now days

So sorry to hear your card was hijacked! Miserable thieves out there persist on preying on innocent people! It happens all the time, everywhere!

Nice green for Ravan this morning. I'm glad Peggy Sue is eating for you. I hope she'll gain some weight soon. Sorry your card got hacked.

Hacked your card... !! Why don't they go work....??? In a more ZEN attitude... I'm happy Peggy Sue is still eating good and that Ravan is still keeping his nice green surfing !!

I don't have credit cards but use my MC debit online all the time. I have a separate account and debit card that I keep small $$ in and use it for online purchases. It isn't tied to my other checking or savings account (overdraft protection) but is with the same bank. When I need to use it I transfer the $$ to the "small" account and use that debit card. I also use PayPal when I can. Vendor won't get card info using PP.
Hubby has had his hacked and it is a PITA. Sorry it happened to you What a nightmare.
