Zener is doing fine today. He must have heard that dosecrease threat in the air and had a nice slide last night. So I kept him at 1.0u. Appy is fine, yard patrol complete. He and Tillie are sharing the fuzzy blanket back on the bed so I am building his condo solo this morning. Anne is off to tai chi then faculty meeting (ugh!).

OT: Amy was absolutely correct that strips cut off of a paper towel or toilet paper tube makes an excellent cat toy! Tillie loves it! :lol: :lol:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter, Barb's Checkers, Marje's Gracie, Gus and Tobey, Mariko's Lucy. Paws crossed for the many OTJ trials, get ready to party, LL. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Happy Wednesday!

Nice start for the Z-man! Dosecrease strikes again!

The supervisors were giving you a vote of confidence that you could handle the condo on your own. At least Anne's first activity sounds fun!

Well done dodging that dosecrease threat Zener! Us bean really love those flat blue cycles. :-D Time to get the autumn fleeces out and ready for occupation.

Jury is still out on the paper towel tube pieces here - play has been heard but not seen.

Hey Z! Just stopping by to say HI and hoping all is well with the Z-man and both of you. Zener sure did have a nice run of greens there...time to revisit those pretty numbers, but these blues sure look nice too.

@Devon - thanks for stopping in to cheer on the blue boy! Did Liz write that I HATE mornings? :YMSIGH: I do much better at night and until about 2 am. This darn work gig is disrupting my normal circadian rhythm. :lol:

@mariko - we are so grateful our guy is having a nice stretch of feeling good with happy appy and happy crap dashing. :thumbup

@John - the mighty Z has been known to read his condo, and on occasion he gets text messages from some of his LL buddies. :cool:

@Ann & Tess - so right, the threat is sometimes enough! :lol: My tai chi class was excellent and about the only thing I will gladly get up to do early in the morning. Unfortunately for me, I was stuck with 8 am and 10 am classes this semester, plus 3-5 and 1-5 labs twice a week. :evil:

@Melissa & Mr T - Zener is trying to keep up with Tarragon! ;-)

@carla - it is so nice when he feels good and has good numbers too! :-D

@Wendy & Neko - we think Neko must have sent Zener a text message. :lol: You're right about the fleeces. Geez, it feels like we just swapped out our winter clothes for summer ones, and now it's time to do it again. Zener and Tillie have been spending more time on their fleece blankets and snuggling on the bed with beans. We've plugged in their heating pads too, but not much action yet. Our average date for the first freeze here is mid-September, so right around the corner. :cool:

@Lisa & Leo - thanks for stopping in to say hi! Zener had a great run with the greens, and we decreased after his 3rd below 50 (and it was below 40), right on the cusp of that he dropped below 40 again, so we did a shave. All that drama with close reductions seemed to halt the good numbers for a bit, so we're back up in dose a bit and hoping to see those greens and blues return. :cool:

Thanks everyone for keeping up with Zener and beans. We are still not back in teaching mode or shape yet. Our first week was only 3 days long, and this week started on Tuesday because of a holiday on Monday. So, we will still haven't worked a full week yet. We're getting too old for this. And the kitties give us those "how can you leave me" looks too. :lol: :lol: :lol: Sorry to not be keeping up with condos better but we will get back in the swing before long.
