Good Morning LL! Back to the Lagoon this morning! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Daddybean will be busy today, class day for mamabean!

Emma is being a scamp as usual. When we call her in the evening too come in, she comes but stays just out of reach, zooming up a tree or the pergola and frisking about just out of reach! :twisted: I've learned to ignore her and go do some weeding, then she wants attention because she is not getting the attention she deserves!

We got the TDC for Emma's stomatitis yesterday. The last round of pred had little effect so this may be the last option before extrctions. :YMSIGH: Paws crossed.

WCR All 5 Ps, attempting Clean Plate Club, the humidity is gone, but weather is still sunny early so warm again today. And the local forecast is for 73º, again! Yeah right! :roll:

Still coolish over the hill here, too!!! Looks like we may have some scary temps later this week tho. according to the !! Weather alert.....

Your little Emma sounds alot like our Muh-pette who arrived about a year ago starving & in heat - great combination! She's about 3 & has all the playfulness of a 3 y/o feral - wants to get just close enough to make you feel you can pet or hold her, then - whoosh!!! She's a little love, though :lol:

What is the TDC you're trying for Emma's stomatitis??? Sorry the Maxi-guard didn't work for her. As for extractions, well, Tigger only has approx. 6 teeth left - the fangs +2 front uppers. However, now that they're mostly out, he's doing much better - 3.5 mos past his dental & his gums are normal - not glaringly red at the tooth line. How bad is Emma's stomatitis?

Looks like Tess is coming off her bounce - hope she has a nice green surf today! Glad she's got her appetite, too.

Suzanne, TDC™ Dual Action PERIODONTAL & JOINT HEALTH for Cats & Dogs is something a few of the others had recommended by their vets, I thought it worth a try. You can get it at ADW, there is a link on the top of the page.

Emma's gums are pretty bad, there is actually a lesion on her lower jaw that we have been unable to get to heal. She has had 3 courses of predisolone, the first time her gums were looking good but that lesion remained. Last checkup her gums had started to recede by the molars near the lesion and the third course of pred didn't even totally clear the rest of her gums like before. If her gums continue to recede we may need to have some extractions, at least there. :sad: :sad: TDC is fairly new and we are gong it a try on our own. I need to talk to Dr. S about it.
