Hi Everyone,
BE back later. We have our houseguest and are going to farmers market. Early this morning (5 A.M.) Stu hacked up the largest hairball I've ever seen: a super-gianticus!! He's been working on getting up another. Has eaten some, but not much this morning. Still, his bg hasn't fallen at +3. Otherwise he is fine and has been outside chasing butterflies. More later, All Ps in place.

Nice blues already. Love the farmers market, I hope Tess lets us sneak off today. We haven't been to the big one in San Luis Obispo since dx, farmers market / bazaar / street fair all rolled into one every Thurs. night right downtown.They close all the streets down for it.

Wrong way, Stu! 200 at +6. I don't think I shot a fur shot, and I was worried that he'd drop today because he hasn't wanted to eat very much. I guess it's a bounce from the last few days.
Back to the Farmers' Market, where they are having a farm to table expo. and we'll plan to eat lunch there and sample all the stuff.

See you all later and will be able to visit condos later tonight.

Hi again Everyone,

The Farmers' Market with the local-food-to-table extras was really nice. There was a presentation on chickens and eggs (a humanely farmed hen lays an average of 3/4 of an egg a day), and quite a few chickens, turkeys, and other farm animals there for people to greet. The food was excellent. The weather has finally changed and it has been cool and blustery with showers. After the market we went for a short hike in the woods and wetlands of our local Visitor Interpretative Center. No canoeing today--it's incredibly windy.
Stu wanted to go out when we got home, so I took him out in the garden. Tested him at +9.5 and he was at 237. Still not much interested in food today, but otherwise seems normal. I think he's having a "flat, resting day". He still hasen't taken his Methimazole pill, either. I think he's "on" to the butter trick.
Back later, I'm going to make pesto for dinner with basil and garlic from our own garden.

The farmers market sounds like so much fun. It has been so long since I have been to one. All those great foods..... I hope you are having a great time with your friend. It all sounds so wonderful.

ok i know it says average. but i can't help visualizing hens walking around with 3/4 of an egg sticking out. takes a lot of muscle control ... :razz:
