I haven't posted a condo for a couple of weeks.....two reasons....we have all been sick here with respiratory bugs. Winter!! I have had back to back chest infections and am still coughing but it is much improved now and I am almost better.
The other reason is my main computer where I update Sheba's SS has been playing up and I have just not felt well enough to sort it out. Am hoping to do that this weekend. I didn't like to post a condo when the SS was not updated. I did look in to the forum on several days and did write in some on my iPad ....unfortunately I can't update the SS on that.
One of my GDs has come down with the latest bug overnight...thought she had escaped it....so it is still ongoing here. It has been a really bad flu season this year here. When the GKids are sick and can't go to school I have them here....so it has been a bit like a hospital here lately...there has been at least one or two kids sick every day...some days five.....
So hopefully I will be back in the next few days. Miss talking to you guys!

Sheba is fine ....

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well and hope you feel better soon.

Do you have google sheets? That's how I update on my iPad. It works pretty well. I rarely use anything else.

Thanks Elizabeth, Anne, Wendy, Rhiannon, Elise and Carla for looking in .....always appreciated
@tiffmaxee Elise I will have a look at the Google sheets thanks. It would be great if I could update on the iPad.
At the moment, it takes absolutely ages to update.....the darn thing is always saying 'not responding' or 'do you want to kill the page'. I have to stop myself from throwing the computer over the balcony....no joking!! A couple of times I updated then lost the lot I had just put in........not good for my blood pressure!
I just don't have that much time in the mornings to sit there and wait and fiddle and fume! And if I don't get a condo posted by lunchtime....it is hardly worth it because of the time zones. I really need a new computer but they are all windows 10 now and I have heard mixed reviews of windows 10. Chris did tell me it is great, so I am thinking about it.

I use Google Sheets too, when I'm not on the computer. You could always upgrade to a Mac. ;)

Congrats on the reduction.

Nice to see you back Bron. Sorry to hear about all the bugs you have "down under", 'tis the season for them unfortunately. Healing vines for you and your family to soon all feel better. Hope you get your computer fixed soon, the wonders of modern technology can be very frustrating when the darn things refuse to work properly. Stay calm!

I see Sheba is still keeping you on your toes, scritches to her.

So that's where you've been! I've seen you posting on other condos occasionally but thought I was just missing yours - I was, 'cause it was missing!

So sorry to hear you've all been under the weather. Sending healing vines for the Gkids and the Gmamabean!

Congrats on the reducie. Sheba, you're a show off! ;):D

Hi Bron, lovely to see you posting again. I notice when you're not around.

The weather should be starting to warm up, then school holidays to give the kids a rest (and a break from the school germ factory), so hopefully that will see an end to the bugs. Although I suppose you get grandkid duty over the holidays too :)

I use Google Sheets on my phone. It's very handy, definitely worth having a look at for the ipad.

Sheba knows how to make life interesting, doesn't she?!

Thanks Suki, Tricia, Carolyn,Wendy and Voula for stopping by.

I have just been looking after my 11 year old GD who came down with the flu last night.....she is so sick. She has a temp of 39, a raging headache and her legs are so sore and feel like jelly she can hardy stand....needs assistance, racing pulse, and it looks like her brother is coming down with it now.....her 9 year old sister is just getting over it. It is an awful flu. Father's Day here on Sunday but we have already postponed it for a week.
Wendy, unfortunately I don't think the Mac is compatible with the programs I have bought for my computer and I still need them and hoping to transfer them over to the new computer........but I am going to look into all the options when things quieter down here..........whenever that is.......Need to check out the Google sheets too.
Yes Carolyn .......we do need to have a break from the germ factory.....and yes I will have them all for the holidays....but I like the holidays....we always do fun things and we aren't restricted by school pick up etc.

Looks like Sheba is bouncing from the 36 today. I really didn't want her to go that low...she caught me by surprise.

Oh Bron!! Sounds like you're running a small family clinic in your home!! Of course once one family member gets a bug, they have to be generous and pass it around!!
I have a friend who left for NZ yesterday to visit her family for the first time in years....she got the news the night before that the whole family is down with whooping cough so although she still went, she's not at all sure where she's going to be staying once she gets there!!

Look at Sheba go!! Congratulations on the reduction little girl, but you really don't need to be so dramatic about it!! After all the trouble you've caused, I'd suggest that you stay away from the trampoline and just be a nice, sweet (and surfing!!!) kitty!!

@Chris & China
Oh your poor friend. I hope she is up to date with her shots. I got the whooping cough about 8 years ago, the same time as my daughter and she was pregnant at the time. I don't know how she managed to hold on to it. It was a horrible thing and went on for months. She actually went to the USA when she had it (she didn't know she had it when she left to go) and she rang me from the U.S. several times wondering what was the matter and what she could take for it when pregnant!
Then my 4 months old GS got it and ended up in hospital. Stopped breathing when I was holding him twice....scary I can tell you. There is quite a bit of whooping cough about now because a lot of people won't vaccinate their kids.
I think Sheba has found the trampoline unfortunately ....not surprised after the 36.

no, unfortunately, she wasn't UTD with her shots and since she got such short notice, there was no way to get one in time to build immunity either...I was teasing her a little about having to sleep in her daughters car, but I sure hope she figures out something!

I bet that was awful for you Bron...having your little GS stop breathing!! Very scary stuff!! So far, I think most parents here are still getting their kids shot, but the controversy is sure heated over the safety of vaccinations here too

Sending lots of healing vines for your poor GD, hope she soon feels much better. Hopefully her brother wont have it as bad, it sounds a really nasty virus. You really are having a lot to hold together at the moment, and doing a marvellous job. Don't worry about Sheba too much, what goes up, must come down. Hugs to you both :bighug::bighug::bighug:
