WCR: All Ps in place. Appy for seafood seems to be good. Shasta seems to be ok...not quite 100%, but still mostly social and snuggly last night. Last night, as I watched her eat, walk around on the couch, walk over my lap, etc., I just kept thinking how frail she looked. Goodness, I hate seeing her like that. Even her bite isn't quite as scary anymore. Don't get me wrong, she'll still come after me when I antagonize her, but when I let her get me...she's just much weaker about the attack.

OT: The school's A/C was working yesterday; although, I gotta say, I was still hot. I think that Tuesday's no A/C day made me a little sick. I don't know how, but I'm blaming my not-so-happy-tummy on the heat. I have to get going this morning...faculty meeting at +2. :YMSIGH:

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

I'm glad Shasta is doing okay and eating for you. I hope she's feeling better when you get home. That's good they got the A/C working at school.

Glad for a happy appy and all p's in place. At least she was snuggly and social, even if she isn't 100%. It is hard to watch them as they get older and more frail. Turnup, our demon cat, has mellowed out so much over the last couple of years and went from 18 pounds to about 8 pounds. ((((Deborah))))

Good for good appy! Yes, it's hard to watch them age. Attitude counts for lots, though. Sounds like she's got it! I have to keep reminding myself as I look at my geriatric critters that I'm just so glad they got to be old; too many of mine didn't.

Arghhhhhhhhhh. Faculty meetings. I still get shivers thinking about them. And no AC. Yikes. Sure hope the education thing gets better!

((Deborah)), it's so hard seeing our furkiddos age.
I hope Shasta's appy is still good tonight.

I agree that it's hard seeing your kitties age. It's like watching your parents. But as you say, we should be grateful they've made it this far. Better to live a long happy life and get every second you can than to die young - true for beans and kitties!

I tend to agree that your tummy upset can be blamed on no A/C yesterday. When I'm too hot for long periods, I feel sick, too. Especially in the humidity you have in FL. I'm glad it's fixed today, even if it isn't as cool as you'd like it.

I think my psycho kitty, Harvey, is mellowing a bit with age, too. He doesn't attack Minka as often, nor as fiercely as he used to. Lately he's actually been letting her eat off his plate! It really was a shock the first time I saw that happen. Now I'm getting used to it. He still teases her by pretending to attack her, but she knows he doesn't mean it any more. I like it! It only took him 14 years!

Sending healing vines for your tummy.

Keep that blue surf going, Shasta! :-D Yes, it's hard to see them getting frail. I'm glad the AC is back on, hope you feel better soon.

Thank you all for your sweet words of encouragement and kindness. Shasta's very mellow tonight...still in a frail(ish) kind of way, but she let me know when she was tired of me petting her hindquarter area!!! A HISS and then a wheeze.  Her appy was so-so tonight. Sorry to not make it around to many condos tonight. I have got to get to bed now. Another meeting in the morning and I was 30 minutes late on her shot this evening, so I have no idea what I'm going to do in the morning. Thank you, all, again! Wishing you and your family & kitties a wonderful night. Good night!
