Good Morning, Everyone,

For once it's not raining! We are going on a short paddle later and are looking forward to it. Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He had a good test (with the new meter--the Arkray mini), good shot, good breakfast (1st sitting eaten), lung treat, schmooze, and still napping.

Thoughts and prayers and healing vines today for Checkers, Jupiter, Lucy and all kitties and beans who are not feeling well.

bbl, this afternoon,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

WOOT! Rusty, dude, I like your amps! That is a good one. You headed off to the lagoon in a few? Surf well today, as your beans are out on the water, doing bean things. You be good.

Enjoy the paddle today Ella. how nice not to have rain!

Hi Ella. Rusty is off to a good start of his day this morning. Glad the weather is better (the rain came here  ) and you can get out for a paddle.

Have a great day Ella.

Have fun on the water! Rusty will hold the fort at home, well maybe taking a little break in the Lagoon!

Hi again,

We are grieving with Barb tonight and sending her many hugs. Checkers is at the Bridge. Fly free, sweet Checks!

The LagoonMeister decided that he would stay on shore today. It looks like a bounce, but could be anticipation of our trip to camp tomorrow (Rusty doesn't like changes in his routine!) I decided to take advantage of his yellow PMPS and try him on a new food: Dave's 95% turkey and turkey liver. He seemed to like it, but hasn't had much appetite today, so we'll have to wait 'till later to really see if he likes it (Rusty does most of his heavy eating at night). In any event, it was not rejected out of hand.

The beans had a good, challenging paddle in very windy, chilly conditions. The clouds were zooming across the sky, there were whitecaps on the lake, and it threatened to rain the whole time we were out. But the rain held off (now--at 9 P.M.--it is pouring). Tomorrow, mid morning, we leave for camp. Friday is the first day of the 90-Miler (famous canoe/kayak/guideboat race) and we are the pit crew for our friend the boat builder. This involves meeting him at the carries and replenishing his water/Gatorade supply, and serving up peanut butter sandwiches and beer at the end of the first day of the race. Day 1 of the 3-day race begins in Old Forge and ends on the beach in Blue Mountain Lake. Here's a link for those who are interested:

Wishing all a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Well....blue and yellow together do make green. ;-) Paws crossed the lagoon meister is just taking a short break.

Wow on the exciting adventure, the things people will do for peanut butter and beer!
