Thanks Marje, Libby and Dale for your evening visits and sorry I missed all of you, as I fell asleep early.

Morning ~O) ~O) ~O) I sure need a lot of it today. I took some Tylenol before bed, and it kept me awake! I thought I read somewhere that Tylenol has caffeine in it! Maggie seems to be feeling good today after that nice, long prezzie yesterday. Her appy is good. She asked to be brushed and purred away! Her cycles since the Vet spa days with enemas and fluids have been within range, and I wonder if this is what helped! Now for the meds to help her become regular. I'll be in touch with the Vet today and keep you posted. Four days seemed a little long for a prezzie, but maybe it takes a while for the meds to settle in the same as a new dose of juice.

Humid day ahead. Today I definitely need to get out and about to pick up Maggie food, treats. I did not make it yesterday and was a hermit. The parking here was too much of a hassle with losing my space, and the street parking has had some vandalism with cars, so I decided to wait. I wanted to see how Mags did also, as she was lower than usual for her, so we had a nice day together.
Wishing all a nice day. Healing vines for Gracie today with her ultrasound and to all sick kitties needing them.

Such a nice day for Maggie yesterday! She is showing much more Maggie-like numbers these days. I wonder if the megacolon had something to do with the higher BG's. I don't blame you for staying home yesterday. I can't imagine what you go through with the parking. It is just better to let everyone go to tbp before you venture out. Have a great day Ann!

Nice AMPS for Maggie today. She seems to be getting back to her old self. Perhaps the "spa treatment" cleaned Maggie out so well that it takes 4 days to have success again?

Oh, city parking. When we lived in Brooklyn we had "alternate side of the street" parking: several hours twice a week when you could not park on one side of the street (for street-cleaning purposes). So everyone would illegally double park on the other side. The police never gave tickets for this "legal/illegal" process during the designated hours, but if you were 5 minutes late in moving your car back, they were right there with the ticket! It was an intricate "parking dance". You had to know your neighbors' schedules to a certain extent so that you didn't park them in when they had to leave for work.

I hear you on the Tylenol - it does the same thing to be too... hard to fall asleep if I have taken it ate into the evening...

What a nice start for Maggie today. I like that amps. She sure has been posting good numbers since her poo issue has been more or less resolved. Well done Maggie. :cool: Love all those greens yesterday!

Great to read that she is doing well. Could be on the meds - takes a few days to kick inn . Perhaps too since he spa treatment it would be a while for the poos to be regular, since she was so well "cleaned out".

oh yes on city parking... that takes me back to when we lived in Settle, same issues! Sometimes you just didn't leave becasue yu knew when you came home someone would have your spot... So uncool. :shock: :?

Hi guys .. well yes these are much nicer numbers for maggie .. Guess the days at the spa really helped her out .. I hope the meds can keep her regulated so she can stay in these nice numbers .. Have a great day guys!

Gosh I remember the parking game, from my mom's neighborhood. When she first moved there, I was visiting, and a woman came running (literally) out of her house to yell at me for parking in front of her house...didn't I know it was HERS? Yikes....no I didn't! :lol:

Maybe you can get a little nap?

Oh my, I like the green but was hoping to get away early, but no complaints here.

Now I do wonder, too, if the megacolon had something to do with the high numbers, and now that Mags had her Vetty spa cleanout, her numbers all of a sudden returned to the nice Maggie numbers. I hope, too, the meds help her. She tolerates both the Lactulose and the Cisapride thru the syringe since they're both chicken flavored. I'm getting better at getting it all in her mouth and none running down her little chin.
Thanks for all of your sympathies on the parking have had experienced it yourselves some time or other with the city parking. On weekends tenants' company sneak in the parking lot, too, as there's no Manager in the office. Barb, I got hollered at by someone, too, last week when I parked on the street in front of his house, even though it's public parking. :-D He thinks it is his street as it's in front of his house. I moved my car, just in case, I dunno, scaredy cat me! :lol:

Yes, those definitely are Maggie numbers! I bet the spa visits did the trick, and I'm sure she'll settle into the meds, soon.

Thanks Ann & Tess, Lisa, Amy and Michelle, for the visits. I think Mags wants a reducie, She was only on two drops at one time but is now 4 drops. It's between 4 and 5 with the Bean measuring! I just heard some litter box action and went in an checked and she was performing a river of pee, darn, but that's good, too, as she's drinking water. Yes, Michelle, it is public parking in front of the houses, but it irks them as then I guess their company has to park further down the street, yoy! Yikes with the snow plow, Ann!

Good numbers for Maggie today.
Shadow likes surfing company and wishes everyone could come join in.

I used to have horrible neighbors with parking years ago with our previous house.
We were a single family dwelling and they were in duplexes.

They would park in front of my house even though their side was clear. Drove me absolutely Bonkers!! :evil:

One time we decided to park on their side instead and they got so upset but still didn't go back to parking
on their own side. I guess all parkiing possibilities belonged to them. :-x
And then one night, when a fireman lived there, all his friends came over and lined up on our side intentionally
and parked 1 inch away from both front and rear bumpe rof our truck and boxed us in so it was impossible to move.
It escalates unfortunately.

I'm so glad to live in a different area now but I still tense up when others park in front of our house. Bad memories.

Not much movement up, but still surfing. I think I will leave Maggie some of her favorite FF T&G which should keep her safe while I'm gone.

Oh yes, it can be hard on the homeowners, too, when cars block their ally or park so close to the owner's car. I'm looking for another apartment with my own parking space, but hesitated to move with Mags having so much going on, but if the right one comes along, I'll grab it. These are older apartments, and it's strange they got away with not enough spaces for all apartments. It happens though a lot.

Thank you Carla. I hope so, too, Maggie keeps these nice numbers now that we have the meds to treat her megacolon. She had a little vomit earlier. I think it was because I gave her dose of Lactulose and then she hd a little food, and it upset her tummy. She seems better.

Thanks for the advice for Tux. I snuck a bit of Miralax into some Fancy Feast gravy food. Shhhh, don't tell Checks, I gave a can of his gravy away. :lol:

Parking! We live on a block with lots of houses & one side of the street parking only!! :o :o cat(2)_steam
We have had many words with others who park here, but when I extended my house, I GOT~~~~~~~~~~
A DRIVEWAY!!!!! Best investment! My DH still has to park in the street, but we can park across the driveway if it's all crowded.. Know what you are saying-We sympathize..Hugs & Love from us!

Wowzers!!! What an incredible cycle for Maggie! You may be right in that clearing some of the junk out may have helped her numbers. Go Maggie go!

Not too much a difference and usually Mags doesn't do the real drop til +5. She had a little bit of an upset tummy, so she's picky tonight with food.

Thanks Barb & Checkers on Maggie. She did have a nice day. You're welcome on Tux, and hope he poos tonight. Oh how funny with sneaking Checkers's food with gravy for Tux! :lol: Mags and I promise not to be a snitch!

Thanks Roni for the dancing cheerleader kitties. Oh my, it seems we all have had our share of parking headaches. I got back into my parking lot, but I now notice the guy who hollered at me has no one parked on the street in front of his house. It would fit two cars, but all the cars are parked further away. He scared everyone off! :lol:

Hi Tamara, I think the clearing out with the enemas really helped. She seems so lethargic today though. I'm hoping it's just the weather as it has been a hot one.
