As most of you know, Jamie's Jupiter had to have a hemangiosarcoma removed from his back paw. The overwhelming generosity of our Lantus Land family paid for his initial surgery, his after-care, pathology, and for the initial oncology visit.

Unfortunately, Jupiter's surgery site has not healed as quickly as hoped and, in fact, is getting worse. At this time, the oncologist and Jamie's current vet have determined the foot must be amputated in order to give Jupiter the best chance. The cost is $620.

LLEF and Jamie are extremely appreciative of all you have given to help Jupiter but we respectfully reach out to our LL family to help once again. If you are able to help in any way at all, we would be very grateful.

This fundraiser is for the amputation, medications, wound care, and any other ongoing medical issues. A generous donor has volunteered to help Jamie get the chemotherapy treatment started.

If you are able to help in any way at all, we would immensely thankful. Time is of the essence for Jupiter and we are hoping to have the surgery scheduled for next week.

The LLEF Committee and Jamie would like to thank you all for your amazing generosity.

YOU....our LL family....have donated enough funds to pay for Jupiter's surgery which is scheduled for this Thursday. Any remaining funds will be put towards any further aftercare such as testing, staging, medications and bandages, and, possibly, if there are some funds left over, towards his chemo treatments. We promise that ever dollar donated will be put towards Jupiter's care and needs.

We will continue to keep you all updated.

Can we still donate? I must have missed the initial post as I have been dealing with a sick kitty. Would love to help out if I still can.

Oh yes! LLEF is still gratefully accepting donations toward Jupiter's care!
 
Thank you LLEF for doing this fundraiser for Jupiter, and thank you Lantus Land, for your generosity and donations. I am so blessed to be a part of the LL Family here and Jupiter has been so blessed by your generosity. I dont think words can do justice here, to say thank you enough.

I posted this in my condo the other day and I cant say it any better then this so I will say it again "Jupiter and I have been so incredibly blessed by this board. Not only have you all helped me to get Jupiter OTJ, but you have all helped us through these rough past few weeks. I want to keep learning more so I can help others more one day and give good advice. This board has literally saved Jupiters life and I am forever thankful to FDMB."

Jupiters surgery is scheduled for Thursday, July 12th Sept 12th. I will continue to keep you all updated and I appreciate your support more then I can express. You have all been so amazing. Thank you!

I think you are doing a great job Jamie. Especially using your time well to plan more and worry less.
