Johnny has had a full day so far. Breakfast, lunch, sunbathing, playing, purring and a visit from our landlord, which always causes a flurry of excitement. He came to look at a couple things that need repaired and the kitties completely scattered when he came in. And then, slowly came out from their hiding spots and coming closer to watch/listen. Then, if he looked up or started to move....scatter again. They repeated this cycle until he left. :lol:

We may be brave/stupid (tbd!) and try some 3% with Johnny sometime this weekend. The FF chicken meals we have are 3% and it would add a little more variety. Not to mention give us a little insight on Mr. P and his like/dislike of 3%. We don't want to screw anything up with the trial, but it would be nice to try while we have this weekend to monitor.

:mrgreen: Happy Labor Day weekend, everyone! I did the opposite of Labor today and took a wonderful nap. I could get used to that, for sure!

Thanks, everyone! We got a 118 at the most recent test (+164). Maybe the excitement of our landlord visiting stirred him up. Or maybe he's just 118. Johnny wasn't too interested in eating right after, but about forty-five minutes later, he ate a nice amount of FF beef & liver. He's bathing himself now and looks like he's going to take a long summer's nap.

Hoping for a big response from Mr. P like last night. This number was really more like 3 hours since he ate, so the +171 tonight (12 ct) should be a better look at 4 hours after eating.

66 @ +171. Mr.P is a night owl apparently. Are these mid-day highs worrisome for an OTJ kitty? Not talking about Johnny, of course. Just in general. :lol:

Now that you've listened to Libby, stay FLAT, Johnny. FLAT. These bizarre BG cycles aren't amusing.
