What surprises me is that there is variation between he different sensors. You would think they would all be calibrated the same somehow. It’s kind of like my ReliOn Premier meter reading differently than your ReliOn Premier meter. It seems strange.I started keeping track of that on each sensor when I myself realized I was panicking when I didn’t need to. Heh. And each sensor is actually somewhat predictable in its variances… for example when this one reads in the 60s, BG is actually in the 90s… and when it reads in the 80s, BG is in the 100s. And “90s” is really higher 100s to low 110s. But you have to figure out each new sensor’s pattern the first time or two kitty goes down in that range. After you do though, it does make for less poking, if you’ve kept track of the variances (give or take ~5 point shifts, which clinically is meaningless). Up to a point. Once the sensor leads LO it’s blood testing only until kitty comes up. Which with this sensor seems to be around BG 80….
