Ms P is feeling flat today. As the bean, it is my duty to guess why this is the case   ! We did have some empty-tummy tummy-acid type spit up right before breffis this morning, so maybe that is why she's flat. More than likely, though, it's because she's a cat with a crazy pancreas who likes to keep me scratching my head. I can't complain about her starting number, and I guess a flat "+3" is better than a spiked "+3". I'm really worn out lately, so I did not put in an extra-early workout this morning, but it's still a work day, so this "+3" is a "fuds "1.5-ish"....a little longer time between fuds and follow-up pokey test than my extra-early morning workouts, but not significantly longer. Who knows what makes Ms P really tick, though...

She was a little tense this morning when I approached her with the gelcap, but fortunately I got it down quickly, before any bats with the paw or warning hisses. For whatever reason, mornings have been when I've been having a harder time, so I guess this morning she was prepped for more of the same. Hopefully getting the pill down so quickly will remind her that we are Team Trixie and we can do this smoothly, even in the wee hours of the morning!

I made some high-calorie/high-protein snacks for my Dad yesterday. He seemed to be coming out of the crash, but not fully yet. Chemo really does suck...

Time to get ready for work...have a great day, LL!

Come on down Trixie. Flat blue is pretty though. Good job on the gel cap! Team Trixie is in the house. The snacks should definitely help your dad. Have a great day Amy!

Gelcap expert scores again!! Way to go, Amy!
Come on down now, Trixie. The morning routine is over.

More feel-better vines for your dad. How many more chemo sessions does he have to do?

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

I think the number of sessions is up in the air. He's done 3 so far; I think most TRY to do 12 of the protocol that he's on, but sometimes the side effects start becomming too much since they are cumulatve. So far he's just has the typicial crash and some other minor side effects, but no neuropathy or cold sensitivity. Also, his original oncologist said that we'd be doing it "as long as it's workng", but that was durng the original consult. Right now, it's wait-n-see....

More vines for your dad, I hope the shakes help him get over the hump. Come on Trixie, this is not the time to play silly games w/ the bean!

Those flat numbers aren't too bad this morning. I'm glad you got the gelcap down quickly. I hope the snacks help you dad feel better. Keeping him in my prayers. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Gooooo Team Trixie!
:RAHCAT

Amy, I'm continuing to keep your dad in my thoughts. I'm so glad your parents live close by. You've been an amazing 'rock' through this.
