While Tink was bouncing hard yesterday morning, he cleared quickly and had a nice visit with  . I did have to feed him a little mc on top of his lc to keep him in the 60s, but it seemed to work well.

Was a bit surprised that this AM's PS was so high - and even more so by the +2. Not sure why he'd bounce, although I guess the drop from PMPS to +3 was a bit fast last night.

I had already loaded the feeder with an extra lc meal (partly based on the yellow preshot, partly based on the extra food sitting in the fridge. Of course, once I saw the +2, I wasn't sure if I should leave the extra food in there or not... but better safe than sorry I guess. He has shed a little weight with the 4 months of being unregulated, so a little extra food isn't gonna hurt him.

Re: 9/30 Tink AMPS 224, +2=360 - why the bounce?

Great to see Sir Tink found the greenies so quickly after his reduction. :-D He also dropped a lot from his +2.5 to +3.5 last night, he's on less insulin, there could still be effects of the last bounce, and he's a cat. All good reasons to bounce.

Wendy stole my answer.....I was gonna say, cuz he is a cat :P

Hopefully he clears this bounce quickly for you!

Seems this one's taking a little longer - though also likely wasn't as severe as his little jumps to red.

Assuming now that he has insulin in his system again, he'll probably decide to spontaneously abort the bounce and come crashing back down to green as he likes to do lately. HE gets 23 1/2 hrs of sleep per day. What do I need to sleep for, right??

Aside from Tink's antics and my full-time job... I also have two goats due to have babies anytime between mid last week and mid next week. One of whom looks like she MAY go soon (next day or two - or in an hour). The other, I dont know if she's even pregnant or not. It's SO hard to tell with goats. So... I imagine one night this week - probably around 10pm (or 3am?) Tink will decide to go nice and low (like, :o low) AND a goat - or both goats - will decide to start popping out babies. Such is the way it usually goes around here.

Oh my goodness! I love goats. Are they milking goats? I want to come visit your new kids!!!! :-D How exciting.
Nope, I believe sleep is for cats. You need to stay awake to wake them up when it's time for tests. (Not that the theory works for me.)

Could you take Tink and the test kit into the kidding shed?

You come visit my new kids and I'll come visit you in Australia! Deal?? :-D

Tink would freak out if I took him out to the barn. He's an indoor only cat that does NOT do well with change. But, I'll figure it out. Right now I have to figure out what to do with him right NOW. Threw me a low number this morning, and I need to go to work. See today's condo...
