Hi Isil and Tifil,

We just want you to know that we are thinking about you and sending positive thoughts that Tifil will feel better soon. Some people have used canned pumpkin for constipation. Is it available in groceries or health-food stores in Turkey? If so, be sure to get plain pumpkin--not "pumpkin-pie filling", which has added spices and sugar.

Feel better, Tifil!

Hugs to you both,

Ella & Rusty

Thank you everbody for your wonderful words and endless support, I feel so calmed down after your help and support.
I am thinking of ordering miralax from ebay, but before I will call the pharmacy. This morning she made her toilet but it was again very dry. I will search for the pumpkin also.
By the way tıfıl is feeling good.

thank you very very much, haven't met with all of you but I feel deep love to you and this forum. I owe a lot to everyone here. Big kisses and hug..
Tıfıl is feeling much better today, I hope she will be better and better.

Thank you so so so much, I am grateful to all of you. Tıfıl is still having toilet problems. I have searched for canned pumpkin but there isn't any brand that has it. What about giving fresh pumpkin after boiling it?
I've ordered miralax from ebay, now I am waiting for it and cosequin to come as soon as possible.
Tıfıl's cystitis problems have stopped but I am very afraid that it will repeat again. Maybe I should take her to vet (or her urine) for analysing the bacteria, if there is any. or should I wait if there is going to be another cystitis attack because I have stopped giving her fancy feast.

I can't speak to the cystitis. However, I would hold off on the pumpkin. If you're going to get the Miralax soon, that should be fine. For now, just keep adding water to Tifil's food.

I am only giving her boiled chicken with chicken hearts because there isn't any canned cat food suitable for diabetic cats in Turkey (except ff). I am adding lots and lots of water her meal that it looks more like a soup, but she loves to lick the water and to reach the yummy food hiding at the bottom of the bowl :) I still don't know why her stool is so dry. I hope she is not having another hypokalemia problem :( Maybe I should find a way to add electrolytes to her meal :(
