I never make it through the night without you-know-what and at 11:30 last night when I went into the bathroom he was awake and hungry. So in my sleep-walking mode I gave him another can of FF.

No more hiding in the cupboard and he's coming up to me and rubbing on my legs :-D And he is ready to come out of the bathroom. I'm only worried about how Danny will react. He has a very low self-esteem and very easily feels threatened :YMSIGH:

I notice today that he's not down so far on his hocks and he's still in the blue! :-D

Edited to fix the date - when I'm off from work, I don't know what day it is

he'll get over it - they kinda have to do that to say how important and tough they are. just so's we all know! :lol: i posted today in punkin's condo about my DD's cat that's here for a week - he's been hissing since yesterday. every few minutes he just randomly looks at punkin or anya and hisses. this morning anya sent a hiss back at him and he went running. hahahaha. cats. gotta love em!

great news that spock was loving you up last night! and it's only been a day. he's going to do fine once he settles in. his BG is looking great this morning too!

Spock is holding his own, just letting Danny know he's home and staying! I say great transition for Spock! No blood on the floor is a good thing.

PMPS of 135 - I couldn't be more pleased. His appetite is good and I started adding FlortiFlora tonight. I hope that will help him poo; I can't remember if the last poo I saw was Wed. night or Thurs.

Now that he's eating consistently, his numbers will probably keep going down. I'll get spot checks this evening but am having a hard time getting blood. And ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm messin' up his beautiful white ears. I'm putting pressure on it after I get the reading, but I can still see the blood inside. Any advice from anyone with white kitty ears? Thanks!

If not pooping is the issue, you might want to hold off on the FortiFlora. It can constipate some cats. (It's great for dealing with loose poo.) Miralax is the "go to" for no pooping.

Thanks Sienne! I thought it was like fiber - will stop you up if you need it and will make you go if you need it :shock:
I certainly don't want to plug him up. How much Miralax does one use?

glad to see he's doing well. what a sweetie he is (i'm the one who drove him up with lisa). i gave 1/4 tsp miralax once a day (some give only 1/8 tsp) or once every other day to start, then increased as necessary by a tiny bit at a time (first increase was to twice a day, then slightly increased amount if that didn't work). also increased amount of water i mixed into my cat's food.

Mr. Spock! How can you not call him that? :lol: :lol: He is doing so well. Good luck with the next steps of the introduction. Danny will need a little extra attention, poor guy.
