Max seems to be on an every other day poop cycle right now. He left a good deposit this morning. I skipped the ondansetron this morning so let's see if he continues to eat well without it.

but then I guess that's how you know for sure it's making a difference.

If the nausea is from a brief p'itis episode he will eat okay without ondansetron. If it's from toxins from his kidneys he won't is my thinking. The only way to tell is to try without. It adds to his constipation issue which is why I decided to ease up. I wish I knew if he is feeling really sick or not. Thanks for the vines.

Your welcome. With p'itis it's always trial and error. If he seems okay I drop the ondansetron and see how he does. It's different now because it might be his kidney disease making him nauseous. I hope Jack doesn't have it but it also could be a one time thing and never happen again. The important thing is to keep him eating and comfortable.

He usually does have a pretty good food spike but then he comes back down later in the cycle (usually)

Hope the experiment works and helps with the poop issue. I am so thankful that China is as healthy as she is....I don't know how you do it with all the medications you're juggling with Max

Guess it's not a bounce. I expected one from the under 40's for two days. He didn't get anything different to eat. Didn't even eat more than usual.

The poop issue started years ago with it. It would get dryer but he still went daily. Now with the binder he's skipping days. If he needs tge ondansetron I'll add it. Today he ate enough without it.
