Good morning everybody. Tomorrow is Friday :-D

Max is looking much better this morning. Got a test in at 1:30 am and was way to tired to get online and post. He gave me a 111 at that time and seemed to have stayed flat the rest of the night . Doing another mini-curve today. I will get tests at the times that I didn't test yesterday so I can fill in the blanks.

WCR: He ate his breakfast, got his abx and came right back to bed. Woke up before I did and started thumping the bedroom door to get me up so he could have his snackus. Is not impressed at all at the fact that he's getting more pokes today cat(2)_steam

This looks much more promising!! (I hope you told Max that the big advantage of keeping his pancreas working is much less poking!)

Beautiful Numbers today Lynee--I'm sure Max will be back at the Falls soon! Thumping, Max why wake your bean up with thumps??? How about kisses or head bumps??

Nice flat cycle so far today. I'm sure he'll hit green at some point. Next test will be a +7. Trying to get between the times I tested yesterday.

Roni - he has resorted to thumping the bedroom door with his paw when he's inside the bedroom and wants out. But he has quickly realized that that's a good way to get food too. If he wants food, he will thump the door until you open it, but then will just sit there and stare at his feeding spot. If he actually wants out, he will dart out of the room as soon as you open the door. The boy is just too smart for his own good.

WCR: He's been good this morning. Energy level is higher. Spent a little time rolling around on the floor with his supersized tennis ball and then took a little nap. So far I haven't caught him in the LB but will watch for it. Water consumption is much less than yesterday - although it's still early.

ahh, lynee, Max is doing much better today! I hopes he comes down to green for ya! Way to go Max!

Well we saw no green today but at least I know Mr. P is still working his magic. Really thinking that once this infection has cleared that he will be right back to his normal OTJ numbers. I'm going to grab a few more tonight just to see if maybe I can find a green number in here somewhere since I did get one late last night. No more curve after today unless vetty bean wants to see more numbers. I will continue with spot checks but will let his poor wittle ears get back to normal after all this poking the past two days.

WCR: He's been so good today. Beautiful day here so the windows were all open and Max made his way to all the windows to find which was the best. He discovered the perch in the living room window fit him the best so he spent most of his day lounging in the sun and letting the nice breeze blow over his fuzzy belly.

much better numbers today. I hope this is a sign that Max's pancreas is on its way back to normal.

Me too Libby. I haven't pulled out a syringe yet but they are close by. I'm biting my fingernails and pacing the floors waiting to see what his pancreas does. I have to call the vet tomorrow since it will be one week on the Clav so I'm anxious to see what she says about his two days of a mini-curve. Will also find out tomorrow if we need another week of the Clav - which in my personal opinion I definitely think we do. No green means to me that there is still some infection there.
 
A big phhhhhhtttt to that number. Of course he just had a snack an hour before so I should have known that this number would be higher than I would like. And really, in all actuality, his PMBG is really the 113 at +11 since I didn't do a +12. Bean has forgotten how to do all this since February. Or maybe it was that glass of Merlot that I had with dinner drinking09

Was gonna end the night with this test but since I saw a higher number than I would like to see, he will get another pokus in 2 hours.

Vetty bean called tonight to discuss Max's ss. She is not concerned about the higher numbers yesterday because of him vomiting. Is happy with how his numbers look today. We are continuing abx for another week and she will continue to monitor his ss from the office.

Max is very happy because Dr. Conley said he doesn't have to endure more poking other than at least two spot checks a day. He just got his last pokus for the curve and his snackus. He is now preening on my pillow on the bed. Guess he figures after all this poking over the past two days he deserves the pillow tonight. And of course I will give in.

Bean is off to snuggle with Max in the bed and watch some tv. See y'all in the morning. Give lots of skritches to your furries tonight.
