Mac was very active last night early - 41 at +3. I managed to give him only LC through the night until +7 when I could feel safe going to bed.

Question for the experts, when could I have fed him MC and not felt like I would be stopping the cycle too much? I am glad I was able to help him surf and no food spike this morning but I stayed up way past my bedtime and will be paying for it today. In the past I would have felt fine going to bed when he got to 71 but the other day for the first time during the cycle he did not hold his BG and dropped again at end of the cycle and that was in my mind. Trying to find a good balance for both of us.

I am glad this dose is doing well for him.

Might want a "?" prefix on the subject line when you have a question. As it turns out, I was checking in anyway. :)

Mac's numbers seem to be turning a corner. (antijinx)

One of the differences between last night and the 9/26 AM cycle I think you were referring to above, is that 9/26 was a bounce breaking cycle with a lot of downward momentum that goes with that. He had a lot higher preshot and dropped fast that day.

I liked to have a couple tests in a row of stable or rising numbers, with only LC being fed, before calling it a night. Plus more than 2 hours since anything higher carb so you know it's worn off. He was showing a natural rise at +6 last night, by which I mean a rise more than possible meter variance (20%).

Thanks for your advice!
