I don't think going outside has anything to do with sensing the change in the weather or the barometric pressure. I read it can affect diabetes.

“Diabetics will have more trouble controlling their blood sugar during cold fronts”

When blood sugar dips as a result of a change in the environment, it can produce what is called low barometric pressure fatigue.
